I forgot to say Good Morning...I have good news and bad news...the bad news first, it's raining and cool again today, the good news, no snow, as forecasted earlier, just more rain (I don't know if that's really good news, since it's more rain....but then, we don't have to shovel to eat out on Mother's Day. I guess that makes it good news.:D

Those are Celcius temps. 27 is 80!!
You should move to Canada.

(Also it would give @Goofyernmost another person to pick on. I blush at all the attention he lavishes upon me.)

Is it bad that when I look at that picture all I see is bacon?

Well, you are a terrific source of things to pick on. Not everyone has that particular talent.
Or wants it, I might add.
You would be sad if I were to leave.

Who else would teach you how to spell "favourite" and "neighbour" correctly?
As in ... @JenniferS is my favourite Northerly neighbour.

We have found a way to stop my brother's eviction.
He is now going to give me all his money every month - turns out there actually is more than enough.
I will pay his rent, and then dole out money for expenses twice a month. Expenses include groceries, pet food, gas for his e-Bike, and a phone card. That's it!

It's ludicrous, I agree. He's 43 years old!
It is, however, preferable to him being homeless ... as he is NEVER LIVING HERE.

I am off to the bank now to deposit the money he gave me, before heading to the Rental Office to pay off his arrears and then pay May's rent.

Not sure how the Brantford Casino will stay in business now.

I LOVE the smell of lilacs!! Now, I went to parochial grade school, and I always remember the nuns had this "thing" about lilacs in the classroom. They were banned! :jawdrop: Why? They insisted that they made people sleepy and that would not be tolerated in school! :hilarious:

Ha! We had May Day, everyone brought in Lilacs and then after they stayed in our classroom all day they went to the sanctuary to decorate the alter for the rest of the week. We did not have a Lilac bush so my Dad would just go and hack away at the next door neighbors bush for my donation to the parish.:facepalm::eek:

The old lady was older that God, she could care less about a stink'n bush.
