I actually watched a news report last week on something they discovered and it works on the brain not just the plaque on the brain. They were very hopeful with this discovery. Of course it was not broken down so the average newscast viewer could grasp but at least I understood the video they showed.

Awesome. Any new research developments may be promising. Fingers crossed.

No apologies are necessary for minor posting errors. We all hit the wrong button sometimes. This is a very laid back, and welcoming group
Thank's , my post was a very big error, according to my hubby. I should keep some things to myself. Anyway, I love all of you, for accepting me with all my mistakes. My story's sometimes get too personal, and hubby is always looking out for my welfare. God bless him. We, are soul mates...we have both encountered some kind of abuse in our childhood. He is mostly silent, I'm a person who shares, as I went through therapy...and it helped tremendously , I share to help someone else out there that might be going through the same thing. I've probably said too much, again, just know it was an experience, as a child , with a neighbor, after we moved into town. I survive, because our experiences may help someone else. I'm a very happy person, and want to let children know, you can survive, and move forward...sometimes, it takes help, the good thing is there is help out there. So you can understand with out too much, info..after moving into town, we had a very disturbed man on our block, his issue was pedophilia. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time...enough said. I hope hubby doesn't object to this post....it's all out there to help anyone dealing with a child, grandchild, or friend with children going thorough this. I know my life sounds really crazy, but it is what it is. I accept that it's God's plan for me, and I can go forward, happily..I have a daughter that is so precious, and kind, and a husband that has had his trials, and can relate. I can't ask for anything more.

So kind of you to pray, I do too...we need a cure and soon, the baby boom generation, will take all funds to keep us alive and functioning, not fair to all coming after us...my daughter and her family included...I have a living will stating no one should keep me alive, without mental capacity. It's been made very clear to all of my family, as our family seems plagued with this disease. I want to go out with dignity, my Mom wasn't afforded that choice. And that was awful. We treat our animals, better than our family member's when they are no more able to function, and remember. That's not life. My pastor said, the wrong thing with today is we don't live longer....we die longer....rant over, sorry...It's a very tender subject to me. Walk in anyone shoes who have had family members die by this illness. It's inhumane.

I also have a living will and a DNR order. It's a directive to keep me alive within reasonable parameters of medical care, but not to use extraneous measures beyond that.

My pup and I went for a walk today and we walked past some lilacs. They smelled wonderful and looked nice too, they weren't quite at their peak yet though.

I LOVE the smell of lilacs!! Now, I went to parochial grade school, and I always remember the nuns had this "thing" about lilacs in the classroom. They were banned! :jawdrop: Why? They insisted that they made people sleepy and that would not be tolerated in school! :hilarious:

My neighbor's have plants a couple houses away, I smell them every time I go to the mail box. So nice....I get in the house and use an inhaler...but, I wouldn't trade that smell for anything.

When we first got the farm I wanted to have some pigs - after all I saw Arnold on Green Acres and he was nice. My DW explained just how mean they are. Now, I hear stories from the farmers of how they have to pour whiskey in the sow's ears so she won't kill her new pigliets....

OK, we have corn and soy around here, no pigs. I need more info....how does whiskey in her ears prevent piglets murder?:jawdrop::eek:
