Hi there.

Was answering another PM, so decided to drop in. Still extremely busy with school stuff, and then because finals are about to happen, my tutoring job is getting even more busy.

But one more week of classes, and then finals week, and then I am DONE. Won't have to think about school for several months.

No internship lined up for this summer like last summer since I'll be gone so much. Probably just going to do some tutoring, babysitting, and volunteering. Might do an internship in the fall; we'll see how it goes.

Hope everyone is well:)

Yes I use a broiler pan so the fat drips into the pan under it. I have read that a baking sheet with sides, like a jelly roll pan will work but then the bacon is just sitting in the grease still.

I bake it at 425 it usually takes about 15-20 minutes. It depends on the thickness of the bacon. If it is thin it is usually takes 15 minutes. But no matter what I usually start keeping an eye on it around 15 minutes for thick cut and 10 min for thin because I don't want it to burn. It is so nice and crispy in the oven and the fat is rendered so nicely too. And if I want the bacon grease for other cooking it is all in the bottom of my broiler pan.
All this bacon talk has me wanting some! It goes great in salads. Better make an extra large batch, it's going to be nice out and I'm not turning on the oven during the week! BTW bacon, extra firm tofu sliced, stevia, bragg's aminos, liquid smoke and just a hint of sesame oil.

The ice cream was peanut butter, so I did scoop out a little and shared that with her. She liked it. I used to buy my old dog Frosty Paws, it is ice cream for dogs. He seemed to like it, so maybe I will have to buy this sweetie a some next time I go shopping.
Thanks for a wonderful memory! The first time I ever even heard of doggy ice cream was when I checked my dog into the kennel in front of EPCOT. It cost extra but my fur baby got one every day of our stay!

So someone bring me up to speed here. Why? And what does this have to do with Beaches and Cream?

Well it all started with Ghiradelli removing peanut butter (allergy concerns, I assume) from the ice cream store at Downtown Disney (I still call it DD; MinnieM123 was not consulted by WDW regarding the name change, and she does not approve of the new one . . . Note the use of the third person there, for inflection. ;) ) Anyway, us peanut butter hounds were freaking out, and our esteemed chit chat cohort, @ajrwdwgirl pointed out that Beaches and Cream had an outstanding peanut butter sundae (to die for . . . from her picture . . .). So that is the explanation here.

I'm going to get the "meatloaf", baked beans and mac and "cheese" in before it get too warm I'm also making 2 cakes and a jumbo pot of minestrone and one of my curry. Hopefully that will hold them off for a few days. With the way they eat.............. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's still quite a lot of cooking, despite the fact that you don't have an oven. You know, you could have used that as an excuse to not cook at all, and just order take-out, and have it delivered! :D

I think I have a little "Disney problem". When I was out yesterday I saw a few really cute tops, bought them and put them away for my dh to give me for Christmas. Sometimes with clothes it's easier that way. The Disney connection you might ask, they won't clash with my Figment pack. Hence they'll be opened and then packed away for my trip. 14 months and a bit away.

You can call it a butt pack, but not a pack.

I have an oven, it's just not going on until my little monsters run out of food! After today I plan on being out walking quite a bit. Winter was really HORRENDUS up by me so 80ish I'll be out walking around my lake. It's aprox a 2.5 mile walk, gee almost the same as getting around EPCOT. I'm sure it's just a coincidence. ROFLMAO about that one.

Ha ha . . . it's not just a problem, it's an obsession! :p :joyfull: Regardless, you did the right thing; it's often better to pick out clothes for yourself, because others don't always know what looks best or fits right. The part that I found amusing was how you'd put things away (for Christmas . . .). Now, do you really think that you're not going to break down before that and yank out all those new, fun tops you bought and start wearing them?! :hilarious:

It might be tempting it's only 3 so I think I can behave. I already have some items in a box for my dh. I sometimes just don't get clothing sizing, I have 4 different size clothes from 2 different departments and my dh is the same size no matter where he shops:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
