nah, those weird posts sometimes come when I'm very sleepy.
I have a weird sleep pattern that I'm trying to fix (going to bed at 4:00 am doesnt help).
I blame the start of the "summer time savings".

I was teasing you. I don't know if you guys have noticed but I post here in the middle of the night at work so sometimes my posts are colorful or odd. Being selfish, I actually enjoy your odd sleep patterns because sometimes you, Jennifer, or Minnie (3 am mountain time), are posting live with me.

You don't really need the sun, although it is quicker. I've made it by just leaving warm water and tea bags on the counter in a glass jug. In fact, since unsweetened tea is such a hassle to find in Florida, I've made it right in the hotel room.

Is sweet tea as popular in Florida as it is in neighboring states?

I get tea at Disney in restaurants unless there is beer because I like nothing else. Unsweetened though.

Yeah, I look at how many wind up dead in those corn fields too, it cuts both ways. I just look at the celebrates alone that have passed in those little planes. We just lost 7 this month including an IL State coach coming back from the
final 4 tournament 2 miles outside the airport, in a field.

Yes, sir... Most every pasture area has gigantic salt licks out there for the cattle. Or at least they used to be, someone has probably decided that it's giving cows high blood pressure and have banned it.

PETA probably protested.

In that video, I'm not talking about the curfew.. but the way he was dragged out with a "panned event" to claim "nothing here happened, nothing to see here folks!".



The other problem here is, we're talking about "generalizations".

While the media concentrates on the violent protesters, they seemed to ignore the 4000+ who were a few blocks away trying to stop protesters or making clean up efforts.


Or the black kid who gave water to cops (bottled), or the circle of prayers of riot officers and protesters.

I honestly believe the big media is biasing what they display in a very exaggerated way to attract viewers.

Kinda reminds me....during a hurricane storm hitting the shore (was tropical storm strength already )when this "reporter" were claiming how awful the destruction was, how the hurricane was insane..etc..etc.. then a kid entered the camera field of view, playing with a ball. there was barely wind!!


Another very important thing.
Materials, windows, cars, houses can be recovered, repaired and replaced. Severed spines and murdered people's lives cannot.

anyway, I will shut up for now, I do not want to lose my friendship with some of you because of my views.

I don't think anyone here would fault you or alienate you for your views. I have read others comments who had a different point of view. I don't have an educated opinion on this subject so I don't comment but I think what everyone posted here on the subject was beneficial. Everyone has been polite and, for me, shed light on the subject.

Unfortunately, they did have a tendency to shrink up after washing. And if you made the mistake of hemming them before the first wash, you were stuck with a discolored "old" hemline when you let them down.

I remember line drying them and they would fold like cardboard.

I really hope now that a year has passed that via Napoli has gotten their act back together. I love that place and was so disappointed with it last spring and have seen too many make similar comments. They really needed new management as they knew how to deliver a good product and the facility is excellent.

I never had any issues but I saw other patrons upset while I was there. I think my face stuffed with pizza released so many endorphins that someone could have stepped on my foot and I would have said thank you.

At least in the midst of the insanity that is my life I had a really good night last night!!!!!!!! My dh pulled out next year's calendar and we spent dinner time on the living room floor with my boys starting to plan a trip for next summer! I already got a rate on the condo we stayed in last time, $111 a night taxes and fees included. So we're thinking 17 or 18 nights! Take care and I'll check in here when I get a few moments! Woof! I haven't worn bell-bottoms SINCE the 70's.
I always remember the sound of the legs flappin' against each other as people walked.

Speaking of legs flapping together. It's very hot and dry here in New Mexico in the summer and we have severe fire warnings for the mountains here. I always say I'm not allowed in the mountains in the summer because my legs rubbing together as I walk will start a fire!
