I'm an 8, the most common size. They usually have my size.

It's a wonder you don't fall over more often. You would think so, based on the breadth of my shoulders and the size of my mitts; but no.

That's what Hubby says. It's a wonder you don't fall over more often.![]()
Yeah, didn't take me long for me to figure that out, considering they moved the whole thread. Meanwhile, all the other forums I mentioned and WDW led with their own April Fools posts--even sharing them on FB--which were so obvious to anybody who saw them. Mine was in the same vein. Even the first commenter said, "Not falling for it." But it was like crickets on this forum. You know, I was "randomly making up stories." Um, isn't that the point of an April Fools post?
Yeah, what she said.I think on any public forum, you'll encounter a range of opinions. What might be fun conversation in your own circle of friends, or with colleagues at work, might (inadvertently) come off a little differently in translation on a forum (to some people). But as @StarWarsGirl95 shared, your post was probably not as well received as you expected, based solely on the placement of your thread in the N&R section, versus down here in the General Chat & Non-WDW Discussion area. (I'm sure many members, including myself, would have played along and enjoyed the thread more on April 1st, if it originated down in General Chat.) You had some amusing thoughts in your post.
The moderators on this forum take care to clearly identify what is appropriate in each subject category. They know that many people (both current members, and new people visiting the site to look around) are specifically reading the N&R section to find out information that is current, as well as what's in the wings for future development, etc. When the mods moved your thread down to the General Chat section, I believe they were simply trying to maintain the integrity of helpful and informative news (and rumors) for all readers.
In the few years I've been a member, I've seen a number of threads re-routed to different subject categories, but rest assured, there's nothing negative implied toward the person who posted it in the wrong category.
Thanks!Congrats! Have fun!
Yeah I was wondering about @FutureCEO, I hope all is well.
That's a given.
Bonus - Hubby gets a little overwhelmed by the smells in there, and lets me go in all by myself, with no parental controls.

Thanks, I love them. You should get yourself another pair.
I really wanted to get to the Basin store on my trip a couple weeks ago, but I never made it to Downtown Disney. I forgot about the store at the Grand Floridian until I was back at my resort waiting for the Magical Express. I guess I just need to go back again!
I'm aliveThank god for the job because I was going insane.
Just focusing on having a first real job and learning so many things. It crazy how many things you need to learn. A lot of alphabet abbreviations too. Bridge is building a jersey barrier which makes a four lane bridge even narrower. Joy! I need a schedule because I can't come on in the mornings, I already wake up early enough.
Today, everybody who works for my company thought we had Good Friday off because of an email they sent saying we had it off. Three minutes later, the were like no. But we do get paid for tomorrow working and holiday pay for tomorrow too. I can't explain that one.
But I've kept my cool on my love for England. I only told them all my favorite shows and music were all British.
We have one major toll road here - Hwy 407.
I drive it often, because time is money, it offers a more direct route to work, there is less wear and tear on the car because it's not QEW-type stop and go/stop and go, it's significantly less congested, and it's meticulously maintained.
But dangit, it's big bucks! Some months, Hubby's useage and mine ads up to $500 or more!
Luckily, it's a line item on our tax returns.
What's with the tomato? Why you wanna wreck a perfectly lovely sandwich that way?
a bit too late lol, I had posted the answer.
you still get your Like.
How do you like your coffee? Crisp.
And yes, CBC!
