When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
That's ok I cook enough for all of us
In all fairness, when I'm working, I don't get home until 9:30 (or much, much later) during the week.
For years, Hubby had the kids fed, bathed and waiting in bed for me to read their bed time story.

Now they're late-teenagers who eat what they want/when they want.
Except for tacos, which they eat for 3 days straight, they don't eat what I cook anyway.

In that case you shouldn't have to cook.

Eeh, filters are not exactly "internal" parts lol.

Anyway the tubing usually is sold (in my country) in 2 versions..
the cheap with crappy aluminium. (retains cold very little and can break way too easily)
and the copper one (way more durable and more efficient)

aluminium usually starts to leak after the first year of installation.

the aluminium ones are loved by mass house builders.. so they can boast they have AC units in every room, even if only half of them work properly due of shoddy quality and installation.

Y'all do not have central air there?
It is a room by room thing...?

There were no provisions on my licence at 16. A licence was a licence. It is not the case any longer. The state a few years ago as my DD just squeaked past by a month even though I really didn't let her loose yet. It was altered by over night hours.

To be honest, I don't even really remember what was "provisional" about it. Don't even know if they call it that anymore.
The only thing I remember, was that your picture was a profile until you turned 18.
Pretty sure that was just 'cause the drinkin' age was 18, at the time. :)

for me it was learner's permit at 15 and full license at 16...although the license was printed vertical until you turned 21...

Which would be ok it we were producing a generation of drivers that were better equipped to deal with driving and being defensive instead of just knowing who has the right of way, but, from personal observations that is not the case.

When I taught my oldest Daughter how to drive, it took literally weeks before she finally came to realize that just because others may have a stop sign, it is no guarantee that they are going to stop. She is now dealing with that same thing with her newly permitted son. (kinda makes me chuckle)

I told her to just say one thing to him, and that is... "You would not believe how many tombstones there are out there that could read, 'BUT... I HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY'.

Similar to somethin' I've posted a coupla' times around here before, that my pop told me way back when...
"Havin' the right of way don't make ya' any less dead."

Another of his was...
"Green does NOT mean go. Green means make sure it's clear in all directions, then go."

Talk about deja vu. My mother always told me that when you see a Robin, that's the first sign of spring. She also said that when you see the first Robin, you're supposed to make a wish! (I did . . . for many years . . . but, a useless practice, as none of my wishes ever came true!)
Maybe you need to wish for your hated enemies.
so they die awfully ;)

? O.k. You've stumped me on this one. o_O Are birds a problem in your area, due to a hotter climate? Do they get caught in chimneys or whatever? We have lots of birds out here, and no problems that I know of. Sometimes, there are geese that take their time crossing a road when cars are trying to get by, but other than geese, no issues with birds at all.
I think the issue is.. for certain types of housing.. bird poop can do a lot of damage..
their poop is so acid, that it corrodes AC units and even concrete-type finish and painting.
