in other news, just came from seeing Dreamworks's Home.
Definitively a little kid's flick, but a lot of it was adorable.
the message of friendhship is really deep.
Also the movie was full of tiny surprises.

Sadly I dont think most of the jokes translated very well into spanish, I will see the movie again once its on bluray, but in english.

Also, the songs really fit the theme of the movie perfectly!

I shed a manly tear during the "FEEL THE LIGHT" song.

Back porch not such a good idea. Going down to -12 C tonight. That's about 10 F to you.
Unless of course beer doesn't freeze - in which case the back porch is the perfect location.

In the interest of full disclosure though, I have to admit that we don't actually have a back porch.
How about under the pergola on the back deck? Close enough?

That would work if it wasn't that cold. Unfortunately, beer will freeze. I have been known to put beer in the freezer to the point when it just starts to freeze, and then take it out to drink...!

Typical me.
- I can do it myself, don't need to wait for Hubby.
- Nope, can't do it myself - Boys get out here and help me.
- Useless brats won't help, I have to do it myself.
- Oops!
- Hubby comes home and gets it done in 10 minutes flat.

I am still amazed at how very strong he is. While I like to play the "princess card", the truth is that I am exceedingly competent. But sometimes I look like a little kid playing with Lego compared to him.
