Yeah right. He's not holding up his end of the bargain - Mr. I got all the fancy camera stuff, and JenniferS posts with just her iPhone. ;)

P.S. I'm making Canadianized tacos for Son #1's birthday tomorrow.
Pretty basic. 5 kg beef. Taco seasoning packets. Warmed tortillas. Sour cream. Shredded cheese. Salsa. Shredded lettuce. And chopped tomatoes (pass!).

Pics to follow, assuming the vultures don't destroy my kitchen.
That was dinner two nights ago for us.

I also leave the tomatoes off.;)

Disney stock went up $4 for announcing another Frozen and two more Star Wars films. Disney is killing me with this Frozen carp. It's almost like they want people to hate them.
Disney would be stupid not to capitalize on Frozen when they've got this huge, excessively popular movie.

Seeing as how there's a beanie baby Olaf on my bed, an Elsa doll on my nightstand, an Elsa painting that I need to hang over spring break on my wall, an Olaf cutout from last year's Frozen Summer at DHS on top of my nightstand, and I'm wearing a Frozen t-shirt (more because it was clean than that they announced the sequel today...) it seems to work.

funny that you mention that.
our golf courses sometimes we see gators too.
the biggest one was 3 meters long.
Monstrous one.
still , the animal control plus some military personal managed to shoo the beast into the nearby swamp.
That's what they do here too...relocate them unless they return and become a nuisance, but the military does not get involved...just the sheriff's office or police.

ETA: don't know how that gif got there....I had tried to post it earlier and got an error message that it wasn't a supported file extension. BTW...what kind of cat is that? box-ear? or something like that? Its cute.

To be honest, a lot of the news nowadays are designed to dont say the full truth. just a part of it and force the viewer to take the viewer.. usually being hinted by the news company towards certain line. specially in politics.
one of the famous techniques is using a question leading.
something that could cause a lot of clicks like "Will this kill all americans???"
and then they use scary tactics claiming how dangerous could be a torn car tire...
then an expert debunks the full extend of the torn car tire problem.

in short.. pure tactics to drive traffics out for nothing.
yup...click-bait headlines.

I do not eat watermelon.
April 1990 ... Caribbean ocean cruise in a 44' yacht ... sea-sick ... last thing I had eaten was watermelon.
You do the math.

(I actually begged my friend to push me over and let the sharks put me out of my misery, as I was afraid of going to Hell if I willingly jumped. :()
well, thank you for that mental picture :in pain:

And if I move to Florida I can see Gators on the Golf Course.

I also saw this picture, and I thought it was a joke--gator looked fake to me. You mean to say that this big critter is REAL??!! :jawdrop:

I hope it wasn't 104...that's danger territory isn't it? Is it a digital or "mercury" thermometer?
It's digital. I don't think it's 104. I ran 104 two years ago. I couldn't move, didn't want to watch TV, didn't want my phone/iPod/laptop...I was miserable. With that one, I had to take ibuprophen just to get the fever down. That was ridiculous

I normally run 97.2-97.8, so even 99 is high for me.

That's true...but you don't have to get on I-4. Lots of back roads that are much clearer. I hardly ever get on an interstate here...if there is a wreck, count on a long delay.

I love back roads, no matter what state they're in. Back roads have so many points of interest, and are usually far more pleasant to drive on than highways. Besides, I don't drive fast anyway, so I'm much more "at home" on back roads. :)

Interstates in FL are like driving in the Indy 500. I like to go fast, but +80 mph? no thanks.

Critical thinking is a thing of the past. I don't know how many times I have read comments on a news story from someone who only read the headline or looked at a pic.

It gets even worse than that--I laugh when I see a newscaster (or, they call them locally here, "On Air Personalities" . . . which is part of the real problem), quote a "news story" from something he just read on Twitter??!!!! Yup, the guy just shot his credibility with me . . .

So if I understand this correctly, someone threw a pizza up on a roof, and other people drive by the house to see it? Sorry, I'm confused; I must be missing something here . . . o_O
In the show, the character, Walt, throws a pizza on the roof of his house after a fight with his wife. The show was filmed here in Albuquerque and the house that they used for Walt ' s house in the show is getting frequented by people wanting to throw pizzas on the roof to recreate that scene.
The woman who has owned the house for 40 years is upset because people trespass to do this in addition to trying to climb the fence to get in the backyard where a lot of scenes were shot for the show.
I saw this story on the local news last night.

How the hecky-durn can you have mexican food without tomatoes???? That's just weird. That brings up a question for @Cesar R M , if you don't mind. I ate at a "authentic" Mexican restaurant in San Diego a couple of years ago and they put chopped potatoes in their tacos (along with the normal, expected stuff). Is that really authentic Mexican cooking???
