My son loved watching him when he was a baby. Emeril seems so sweet. I watch him on Top Chef and he is very nurturing and paternal.

Guy Fieri has a burger restaurant on our cruise ship. I know we'll be eating there a few times.

Wow! That's really cool. I like this cruise ship your on, more and more every day. (I haven't forgotten that you can also have ice cream any time you want it during your cruise! That alone, would make me want to go!)

GRRRRRRRRR. Here's another chapter from the book of "It's Always Something". Was leaving to run some errands and the garage door busted. Can't get it open and the car is in. Now, I'm sitting here waiting for a call back from the repair shop to see if they can get here to fix it. The door is all ****-eyed in the opening and won't budge...about 1/4 open. I could spit.

Oh, I hope it's not an expensive repair and can be fixed rather quickly for you.

You just made me realize the one and only benefit of not having a garage: my car will never get locked inside one! (The flip side is that every time it snows, you have to clean off all the snow and ice from the car!!)

Luckily, I bought a new battery in December, and that was one of the smartest things I've done, with the extremely low temperatures we've had over the past 2 months (many times dropping below zero). But that car starts right up with my dandy new battery!! (Since the car was purchased as "used", there was no way to tell how old the battery in it was. As a preventative measure and for my peace of mind, I bought a new battery.)

Since when does this crowd not want to hear about, and see pictures of, FOOD??!! We can never get enough of that!!

I find regional words for things fascinating. I refuse to call that bit of grass between roads a median. I always call it the neutral ground. It's a New Orleans thing.

I blame this on my mother.

Apparently when she was pregnant with me, all she could stomach was pizza. She said if she had to cook it, she didn't want to eat it, and basically all she could look at was pizza.

Hence, she created a monster.

Your mom was the ultimate pizza delivery guy! You didn't even have to call her!

I loved her Disney specials. I saw two one where she went to Wilderness Lodge and the one where she talked about her favorite things at WDW and DL. Didn't she film another Disney special?
