A little Vanilla Ice
One trip we had just returned to our room (on the second day) and there was a nice young guy as our Mousekeeper still cleaning our room. We were just picking up our mugs and heading to the food court. The guy was telling my daughter he liked the Happy Meal toys she had in the window and he likes to eat there.
Later that evening we were stopped at the light by the All-Star McD's and saw that MK guy crossing. We just happened to be going to DTD (back when the McD was still there) so we popped in and bought gift certificates to leave every day. On our last day of mousekeeping we were left a very nice note from the MK saying he and another enjoyed them very much and he got a coffee and sandwich a few mornings with them.
School of Business does not. Students aren't allowed to decorate in there. No posters, nothing on the walls. The philosophy is to immerse us in the business environment from the begining, so other than the basement, no posters, decorations, nada.
That is very nice. Some of my favorite memories at WDW involve experiences like this. My babies are growing up: DD soon to be 20 and DS is 15. We have many fond memories of WDW and it makes me sad to know our Disney vacations are changing. Who knows? I might end up going solo in 4-5 years.
At heart, I am a DD/MM/YY girl.
Apparently, the universal location for leaving a tip (be it an envelope or straight up cash) is on the pillow.
I didn't see your post in WITWISBS so I am assuming that you are talking about the metric system. If so, it wasn't that we didn't want to, but, in the few test places where speed limit signs were changed, rednecks went out and shot the signs down. It was to dangerous. If you try and get people that just barely grasp how big an inch is, they are not going to fall easily into a metre. (That's meter for the unworldly)
I'm sure we don't have to stay estranged, it's just that I can't figure out how far away you are or what the temperature is in your part of the arctic circle.
Legal? Legal? We don't need no stinking legal.
We saw a lot of 'this' during the mega gas shortage when the Feds lowered the speed limits to conserve gas. Oy.
Laughing face stands then. Never think I heard a guy call himself a pansy before, I've heard others call them pansies.....you laughed at me because I'm a pansy at cold climates
I feel cheap now lol!
My husband had asked females at work and they said anything Frozen........... Refuse.
You should see the airfare out of Cincinnati (cvg). Even with the lack of business whether it be vacation travel or business, they are still considered one of the highest in the country. They, I think lost there rating of an international airport and now regional after Delta pulled out Cinci as there hub and went to Detroit. Dayton doesn't help much either.
You made it sound like it was some sort of family feud a la Romeo and Juliet lol.
I want to touch this sand. It looks so soft. I think I want some for myself.I love the kinetic sand that I first saw sold by Brookstone (I sent it to my DD at her University) and there is mini sand toys that go with it. I have since seen the sand and toys now sold at Joann's Fabrics store and online. If you register with Joann's online you will also be forwarded a coupon for a 20% off discount on your total order. (can always unsubscribe after your purchase.) The molds my DD has are plastic-ish soft molds similar to molds used for candy molds or cute ice cube tray molds where you can pop the sand out. She uses a shallow tupperware type container to play with it in, less than $2 at Target in the ziplock bag isle.
The sand is great because it clings but is soft and flexible but will not scatter or spill and is long term reuseable. My DDs is 2 years old and the properties of the sand has not changed. Me, I love it too.
My DD only has the tan sand, she didn't want to fret about mixing colors and sand is tan.
Did she like the college program?Yep, I'm in that place now. Our long annual family trips kinda started to change with high school and we only did short trips in Summer, too freak'n hot for us. Last 16 day trip was in September of my DS 8th grade year. I did pull him for my School Board Conventions that were the week prior to Spring Break and then we'd move from Uni to Disney for Spring Break but things did change.
My DS did the college program at 20 so I got several trips in that way. This spring was just shy of 2 weeks but DD had graduated college.

I have a set of pins that I found at a Discount Disney Store in St.Augustine in early 2013?... we lost stitch, but have the others.Hahaaa...!
I remember when we carried the Disney Nerds line at The Disney Store...!!!
The holidays are most always just me and my daughter so any family drama gets her sent to her room.
