I don't think I've ever been to DC and not seen one. I even saw one when it was freezing and looking like it was going to snow. That said around 4th of July it looks like they're having a convention

Yeah, they like to park over near the National Mall. Which actually makes sense because there's not shops and such outside of the museums.

Pre-covid they had a bunch of food trucks one day when I was there.
