Discount Tire fun, earlier today.
Carolyn came out to a flat rear drivers side tire this morning. I drove her to work, then went back home to see if it would hold air long enough to get me here…no dice. Put the donut spare on, and it was half flat. :cyclops: Had to pull out the air compressor again, and, fortunately, the donut held.
Also, fortunately, the puncture was in the tread (not a sidewall - replacement would have been $153.28, mounted, balanced and installed), so it was fixed for free…they do that, even for tires they didn’t sell you…!!! :)

I got crazy weather here where I live. Today's high 69 degrees, tomorrow's high is 41.

Did you see my weather post on Monday (March 16th) morning…?
In less than 17 hours, we had an overnight temperature swing of 61 degrees.
Our high on the 16th was only 54, so that’s still a 45 degree temperature difference from day-to-day highs.
My original post from the 16th below…

And, the craziest part…
A 61F degree temp swing overnight…!!!!!!! :joyfull:🤪🤪🤪:hilarious:

I don't think I've ever been to DC and not seen one. I even saw one when it was freezing and looking like it was going to snow. That said around 4th of July it looks like they're having a convention
Every Sunday afternoon last summer we had an ice cream truck circle in and out of our parking lot. Important to note that we are an over 55 complex with most well over that age. Somehow he seemed to think that age group would come charging out at the sound of the required ice cream truck music. So within 5 minutes he was gone. Hell, a lot of us take five minutes just to get out of a chair much less get to the door, shuffle down the hallway, take the elevator down to the first floor and go out to the truck.

Perhaps he didn't realize it was mostly old folks, mobile but needing time. Realistically once we hit over 55 we keep an ongoing supply of ice cream in our freezers if we really want some. Unless, grandchildren happen to be visiting there ain't no kids nagging us to get up and buy them treats.
