I've been to Subway once since 2009 (I have Subway PTSD) and I remember when a footlong steak was about the same price as a current 6 inch. Not a random thought, my friend sent me a picture of the protein wrap calling it a good deal.

Not a bit surprise. My younger brother mentioned the same thing a few days earlier. I placed it under signs of food getting more expensive.

I still remember Arby's old 5 for $5 deal for their roast beef sandwiches, but when ever Arby's does any advertisements for any deals, you know it is a thing of the past.

I'd rather go to Chipotle for those prices. I used to get a 6" for $4 in college. The days of not having money...

We had many pups during the 33+ years we lived in our old home.
Several of them, over those years and unassociated with each other, would sit on our bed and bark at the top of the wall above the headboard, from time to time. I checked the attic many times, and there were no critters up there or anything else that caught my attention as to what might elicit such behavior.
Never did figure it out.

Proof that I need a Nordic bakery near me. But like here with our Italian bakeries, I see French pastry too.

I think the closest Danish bakery is Ole and Steen in NYC. It's a Danish bakery chain. Which sadly does not have a lot of the good stuff the Danish stores have according to the website. Ironically, I first found it in London. Drinking game: How many times can I say Danish in a paragraph.
