Yep, definitely didn’t see the entire show here either, by the time I got “tuned in”…!!! ;)
And, thank you so very much again for that heads up, BTW…!!! :)

Anyway, I didn’t see any of the cars you posted cross the block, but they are indeed sweet…!!! :geek:

The ‘70 Superbird with the 440 and Six Pack (3 2bbl. carbs - as denoted by the oval-shaped air cleaner assembly), what’s not to love…?!!! 🤔;)

The ‘69 Road Runner custom, although not really my cup o’ tea, who doesn’t love a blown (supercharged) hemi…???!!!!!:hilarious:

The ‘68 ‘Stang with the 427 big block, restored to, mostly (427 big block was a late model year addition), original is more to my liking…!!! :)

And yes, another 440 in the ‘69 Daytona, although no Six Pack, but still a sweet ride…!!! :)
And indeed, the white spoiler where the paint also wraps the body is indeed a nice touch…!!! :geek:

The ‘70 Challenger with the 340, yet another sweet ride…!!! :) I had a friend in high school that had a Dodge Duster with a 340, and it hauled some pretty good butt. Much better than the slant-6 engine they also offered in that model, of course…!!! :geek:

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to post all that, as it is much appreciated…!!! :)

ETA…
I’ll post about some I saw later, but I think I need to take a nap now…!!!!! :hilarious:

@MinnieM123 , some cars that stood out to me from the relatively little bit of the Mecum auction I watched yesterday…

This ‘56 Pontiac Safari Wagon is Americana on top of Americana with extra Americana sauce…!!!!! :inlove: :hilarious:

IMG_3993.jpegIMG_4001.jpeg

The ‘52 Chevy Suburban below is a custom, but I very much appreciate the two-tone retro color scheme…!!! :)

IMG_4008.jpeg

Loved the “Christine” car, but can’t remember if it had the 318 c.i. or the 350 c.i. engine…? 🤔
Either way, they both came with dual quads…!!! :)

IMG_4009.jpegIMG_4011.jpeg

The ‘59 Caddy below…sweet as a ripe peach…!!! 😘🙂

IMG_4012.jpegIMG_4013.jpeg

This ‘56 Pontiac Chieftain below I coulda’ easily paid cash for, but Carolyn woulda’ killed me…!!!!! :cautious::eek::inlove::hilarious:

IMG_4014.jpeg

And, finally, the ‘62 Chevy Impala SS convertible, with the 409 c.i. W-head big block, below is just more antique sweetness…!!!:geek:

Just lights, for now.
She’s saving the ornaments until Emmy and Audrey come over during their Thanksgiving break next week to help decorate…!!! :)

Its getting warmer by where I live coming up for rest of the week including on Mom's birthday. That is nice for Mom's birthday considering Mom wants to eat at a Supper Club. On Mom's birthday in past, it was snowed while going out to eat.
The Supper Club didn't have "live Music" at the time we left. The "live music" starts at 6:30 p.m., but we were finished at 6:00 p.m. We had a great meal at the Supper Club.

The appetizers were Crab stuffed mushrooms, and hand rolled & hand breaded mozzarella. Both were great.

The Main entrees we had were 2 8 oz. Filet Mignon with onion shreds, 14 oz. Grand Steer Filet with Mushrooms, and Roast Duck. The side dishes were 3 baked potatoes and French Fries.

Mom got free dessert for birthday. She had Creme Brulee.

@donaldtoo , I picked a few cars that I really liked from your selection.

This ‘56 Pontiac Safari Wagon is Americana on top of Americana with extra Americana sauce…!
Enjoyed your description! :joyfull: The red and white color scheme on this car, makes it a standout!

The ‘52 Chevy Suburban below is a custom, but I very much appreciate the two-tone retro color scheme…!
Speaking of color -- the pastel green and cream top look great together! Also, I love the grillwork!

The ‘59 Caddy below…sweet as a ripe peach…!
That Eldorado is sharp! I've always been drawn to those cars with fins!!!👍

And, finally, the ‘62 Chevy Impala SS convertible, with the 409 c.i. W-head big block, below is just more antique sweetness…!
That '62 convertible brings back memories of years ago -- seeing those cars, top open, in the summer months. (Yet, it's easy for me to get distracted by the style and colors, and almost miss the "real" show under the hood!)

Thanks for the feedback, Minnie…cars just bring me joy…!!! :)

That Pontiac Safari wagon is actually black and white if you look at the second pic…the red on the floor is reflecting off the glossy black paint in the first pic…!!! ;):)

Yep, the colors on that car are perfect and, as you pointed out, the grillwork is very cool…!!! :)

Definitely yep, fins are still in with me…!!! :geek:

I almost bought my 1985 Mustang GT in the convertible version, but I ultimately opted for the hardtop. Convertibles are a blast though, and we, of course, have many of them here in Texas…!!!;):)
