Dad is not allowing that. My dad wants to start Christmas decorating their house inside in mid November if possible. He'll be doing Outdoor Christmas decorations after blown up Thanksgiving turkey gets put away after Thanksgiving.

The reason is my dad had a lot of decorating to do and its taking him longer than it used due to him getting older.

Happy pagan day for those 80% who celebrate according to one article.
If you want to be technical, most holidays have pagan origins. Christmas is celebrated on the winter solstice because the date was moved, and the tradition of bringing in trees had roots in paganism. Easter has roots in paganism as well with the Easter bunny....rabbits represented fertility.

Which is why we should all make sure to celebrate the holiday that specifically has no origins in paganism, but sadly does not occur for another six months...Star Wars Day. .

Sorry I haven’t checked in a bit. I’ve been busy with work and attending soccer games and just haven’t had the motivation to post. I suppose I should start with how Halloween went. To begin there was a slight change in Halloween costumes and dr. Doofenshmitz has been pushed to next year. We woke up to this in the morningIMG_3390.jpegThere was also a Harry Potter Lego set a nightmare before Christmas funko pop of jack and his house and a bag of Ghirardelli chocolate. I dressed up as a demogorgen from stranger things. My little brother was Dustin from stranger things as a ghostbuster and my littlest brother was a regular ghostbuster. We went to celebration to trick or treat. The best decorated house had a bunch of muppets on the porch and and a whole car filled with muppets watching muppets haunted mansion which was being projected on a screen. After trick or treating we went to Disney Springs where we had dinner at blaze pizza and checked out the Christmas merchandise at world of Disney. Then when we got home we had pumpkin oatmeal pies and watched the stranger things season 5 trailer.

@MinnieM123 The local weatherman prediction for snow. Must be nice to be a weatherman. There are two professions where you can be wrong all the time and not get fired. Politicians and weatherman.

Most of his stuff with the exception of "Dashboard Light" I really didn't get to excited about. I do know that he put every ounce of his being into his performance. That is impressive.
I always thought he did one of the best performances of the National Anthem ever back when he did for the 1994 All-star game started. I remembered seeing him signing it on TV back in 1994.
