My arm hurts. I got both my Flu and Covid shot today, both in the same arm. I was thirsty a little bit ago and didn't want to lift my arm to reach over for my glass of water. It will pass but its annoying right now. Oh and it is also on the side I sleep on. I take comfort in knowing that my husband's arm hurts from his shots too....misery loves company right?

Yeah, I didn't know until after the fact when one of my FB groups said something about it. I naturally have extremely good teeth; haven't had a cavity in 13 years, so fortunately I didn't have that happen, but I warn everyone now to just be on top of it.
Same here, my doc always comments how good my teeth is.. no caries no cavities..
hopefully will continue to have so.. reminds me. I need a proper cleaning soon too :o .

I just couldn’t bring myself to do both this year at the same time. I was miserable last year. Hugs!

P.S.: Our heat is usually set about 60, which is fine for us. We jack it up to about 65 when temps drop below 20, later on in the winter.

Thank you! My patient pants are wearing thin LOL Hopefully by the end of the month we'll have all the answers.
After a PETscan recently, they discovered something concerning on my Thyroid so they sent me to the Endocrinology Dept. where they told me that they think they spotted something hiding behind my sternum, but since it is still hiding they cannot determine exactly if it's a problem or not. They asked me about 10,000 questions that I assume were possible symptoms of Thyroid Cancer all of which I answered No! Did the usual feel up the neck looking for some sign of something but turned up a zero. They sent me on my way and set up an appointment for next September. I guess they weren't overly worried. So there is always a possibility that something serious is happening, but sometimes the alarm is just a precaution. I still maintain that no matter what your situation is, even the best of health, if they look hard enough they will find something. I've learned that the bodies warranty runs out just about the time we reach our teens.

I agree with you there. I'm trying hard not to freak myself out totally. Glad your initial "searches" have come up zero!
My previous doctor mentioned to me that even though it's a struggle for patients, to have various tests done (while waiting for a diagnosis), it's well worth the wait. Here's why: doctors test for the worst illnesses first, and then work down the line to less serious conditions.

In other words, they rule out the worst possible outcomes first. Hence, if you feel like your situation is being dragged out with multiple tests, etc. -- your diagnosis may actually end up being far less serious, that originally thought. It's frustrating and all, but try to hang in there.

I really hate the whole process of getting a shot. Really I hate needles.

I figured it was a one stop shop so why not get both. By mid-day today the pain finally went to a dull ache. I can now raise my arm without wincing.

I really hate the whole process of getting a shot. Really I hate needles.

Needles have never really bothered me. I'm a type one diabetic so I do 4-5 shots of insulin a day and before I got a continuous glucose meter I had to do a finger prick at least 4-5 times a day. I got over any discomfort with needles really fast after diagnosis. I can understand why people don't like them, but for me it's life or death so needles are fine. On the flip side I still wouldn't get a tattoo, I don't like needles that much! Plus I don't think I couldn't decide on a place or image I would really want on my body for eternity (I'm indecisive).

I can't remember when Spectromagic debuted, that was a good parade though.
Spectromagic first debuted on October 1st, 1991. I am going by the 20 reasons for going WDW marking campaign for WDW's 20 anniversary and the timeline my first 2 WDW trips happened.

My first two times to WDW happened in Summer of 1991 and August of 1992. What I mean by Summer of 1991 is July or the first part of August of 1991. What I can tell you is I saw Main Street Electrical parade for my first time to WDW, but Spectromagic already debut by the time I went back to WDW in August of 1992.
