Hope it curves north and stays out to sea. Just in case I always have gas cans filled this time of year for the generator. Do need to check all the flash lights are working.

We did our prep back in May, and the pantry is full, not end of canning season full but we can more than manage another Sandy. Dh scored a deal on batteries a few months back, and I restocked our glow sticks when they came in for the season. Also have 2 coffee makers that don't require electricity

Spoiler: My Gilded Age Thoughts

I did like that the white Dr. did admit that Dr. Kirkland did a good job in the end, but didn't like the snobbery either or the painkillers prescribed. I don't like the idea of an adicition storyline. I didn't like that George didn't reconcile with Bertha, I thought that is where that was headed and liked the thought of that especially since she basically admitted she was wrong about Marian. I like the idea of Gladys being happy with the Duke and really want Marian and Larry to work things out. Kirkland's proposal to Peggy was a good one. The Oscar and that lady should be an interesting plot line, I don't think his mom is going to be to happy about it. Speaking of the sisters, it has been fun to see their relationship change, but strengthen a little more in my opinion. Also loved the back and forth between the two balls. The dresses were gorgeous!

And then Harry asked Kevin to talk to Ginger to see if she knows if Susan likes him or likes likes him. If she does than Harry is going to ask Susan to the Prom and he doesn't care if her current boyfriend Jacob likes it or not. Susan is a sweet girl but should really see an Orthodontist and stop that one tooth up front from pointing out straight ahead. She knows it interferes with a lot of things, like kissing, but at this point she uses it as a natural method to make sure that nothing goes to far if it even gets started. Kevin was going to ask Ginger to the prom but she is working the corner of Main St. and Palmer that night. As an interesting side note, Jacob has been known to resort to some nasty behavior if any one tries to take away his woman, so Prom night should be a memorable one.

Was at Target tonight when some goof decided to call into the store and threaten to rob us. Nothing happened thankfully but then I saw an article about how there was a shooting at a Target in Texas as well. Like woohoo gotta love it.
