Still spots of yellow in Burlington County (farms), the suburbs have encroached father east into the shore area (shoulder and south, east of Parkway). The area in PA showing Philly suburbs is a bit too small. North of the shoulder are mostly older towns with decent park systems. Many built back around the time Central Park was "built", many built by by the counties

This point in our history everything that is, actually isn't!

I like Dollywood, but unless one is a roller coaster connoisseur, it's not even close to better than the worst Disney Park. An awful lot of that 8 million would be people that have never been to Disney and possibly even Dollywood.

As someone who has been to Dollywood and WDW many times, Dollywood is a fun park and a much better bang for your buck. Take that times 5 as a annual passholder. The value isn't even close.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone. I should have said "in my opinion". I know that there are others that don't feel that way. Even though I like Dollywood, I have three thing that work against me. 1. It's on the side of a mountain and as a person with mobility problems, it can be a major issue. 2. This is equally important to me. I don't like coasters, never have and probably never will. Let's be honest most of the non-musical attractions are coasters. 3. Although I don't hate country music, I am not a big fan. Combine those three and it still must have something going for it for me to like to go there, and I do. It's a very good theme park, but to say that it is "better" quality wise, I think is incorrect. Dollywood is less expensive and targeted to a more specific audience in which I don't feel I am included. Never the less I think it is good but not better. I suppose one that one can afford to go to is better than one someone can't afford to go too. I'm am close to being left out for both Disney Parks and Dollywood.

To be completely honest, I prefer to just go down the road to The Island in Pigeon Forge. At least there you only pay for what you want to see, not all the rest of it. Much better bargain for me in my mind. However, we are all different in what we like and I am probably quite biased because of that difference. :)
