My northern senses have now gone pretty much away. I was out this morning when the temperature was around 93F. I didn't really mind it except for trying to keep the ice cream I bought from thawing out in a car that had reached an easy 2000 degrees. I don't mind the heat because I don't spend much time out in it, but I do feel for those that do have too. I have adapted and now set my thermostat at 73 summer and winter. I never change it.

What the actual? I have ours set at 85
I'm old and if I have learned nothing in life it is that it is extremely short and I will do whatever I have to do to make sure that I am comfortable. I no longer have to spend money on toys, cars, dating and all the rest of the stuff that younger folks do so I am going to be comfortable. I refuse to die sweating or shivering. It is so bad that I can no longer know how I survived all those years in non-air conditioned auto's and sub-zero winters. Can't even imagine it anymore.

I recently wrapped up my first ever watching of the back to the future trilogy. My word Steven speiberg never misses does he? The first one was my favorite. My little brother prefers the third one. (It has a train!) anyway I’m officially on the road to doing the back to the future themed escape room for my birthday.
Update. I was at work last night and what shirt is a customer wearing?
a calvin Klein shirt.

Just like the Deep South , one gets used to the oppressive heat and humidity, like some whose body gets used to the cold long freezing winters . . Your body gets acclimated to it. If one likes beautiful weather with not needing AC and hardly looking at the weather forecast - San Diego and Hawaii ( the HI AC is called the trade winds ).
