Yah, no thanks to driver-less . . .

My gym rat buddy loves his Tesla self driving option. Driving to FL on I-95 he sets it on self driving when he sees little traffic , he tilts his driver seat back and goes to sleep for about 2-3 hours.

Honestly the only way you can call them "Lucky" is to never have experienced ten months of winter snow and cold. It's just a pleasant reprieve for a miserable long period previously lived! When I lived in Vermont 80 degrees with high humidity was just as unbearable as the 95F average we get here in NC in the summer. It's just what you're used too. The year I spent in Vietnam was something that I thought was going to kill me but after a month, I got used to it. It still wasn't pleasant but it was something I adapted too.

That's is way to much faith in technology. A science that has a habit of failing on occasion. One of those times he may wake up dead. To me he is not only risking his own life, he is also risking the life of others that might be on the highway with him. Remember the space capsule that failed to bring back the astronauts from the Space Station? If you want proof just ask yourself how many times you have experienced or heard about the rides at WDW are down because of a control malfunction not a physical one.

I’d never buy an EV even though I drove one as a rental. I opted for the mystery special and Avis gave me an EV. I’m not used to the silence of the car while driving but when you floor the gas pedal your back gets planted into the driver seat while you feel like taking off like a rocket.
