The only flip show I like is one they have that takes place on Oahu. It's done by a couple, and he's native Hawaiian. He grew up on Oahu. They restore homes that are badly damaged. I kind of like showing how they break down the costs and how they bid on the house so they make a profit on it. Then they show their designs, the unique challenges of getting the resources on Hawaii, etc. And then of course they show that gorgeous Hawaiian scenery.

They have kids, and he talks about that making this money means their kids can stay in Hawaii in the future, and they show how they're involved in preserving the culture. I like that.

Other house flipping shows...I don't care. But I never watched older HGTV because that was boring as a kid 🙃

Bucket list for us would be
Japan
California
UAE
Alaska cruise
Transatlantic cruise
China.
Let's see now...

Japan: I have been there, but Tokyo Disneyland didn't exist at the time. I did go to Osaka for the 1970 Worlds Fair.

California: was where I ended up in 2005. I was originally going to go to New Orleans but that big wind called Katrina came blowing in and I had to change my plans. Got to go to NOLA anyway when my youngest enrolled in Tulane.

UAE: absolutely no desire to go there at all. I know, even at my age, I would say something and spend the rest of my life in prison.

Alaska Cruise: I don't do north on purpose.

Trans-Atlantic Cruise: Did that without any pre-determined desire, but now that I have done it, I highly recommend it. If you plan a trip to the east coast of the US someday, check on repositioning cruises, They are lower priced with all the same perks.

China: Can't say I hear anything calling me loudly enough to do it. It's a moot point now anyway because of leg issues and long distance flying.

There are three(or four) places that are on my mind that I would like to possibly visit if all things fell into place. They would be Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris again and Disneyland again, as well. I'll add another less likely to happen would be WDW just to stay in the Contemporary, facing MK, like a vowed I would do someday on my first day ever at MK, 42 years ago.
