They do this when the Orioles are in town for May 4. I have to go find my bobblehead. They dressed the players up as Jedi and have three giveaways. I will get two, I'll have to see about buying the third. Since May is a Sunday this year, it's an entire weekend. They also had characters there, played music (Darth Vader theme when announcing the lineup for the away team, lol) and have special food items. Gotta look them up; I think one was something about a Sarlaac pit. And the Orioles mascot was dressed up and fans were dressed up as characters too.

I also have MLB/Star Wars crossover stuff. I have a mug with Chewy on it that says "Let the Orioles win." I have a shirt that has Luke, Han, Leia, and Chewy with the Orioles logo. I'll wear that tomorrow. I may also grab my Grogu shoulder plush or my Ahsoka Nuimo. I have some other merch (jewelry) that I can wear.
I don’t play sports really but that sounds amazing.

You may need a special cage on the 4th for this:

That looks interesting. What brand of sesame sauce do you use? (I see that Target has one under their Good and Gather house brand for $2.99. Maybe I'll try it sometime.)
Homemade
Almost every commercial sauce with soy on the market has gluten
PS those bottles are tiny, cost to diy enough for Figgy family under $2, less when I use veggie stock

First concert I ever went to was Boston here in Austin in 1978. I was 15. We had tickets up in the mezzanine and, IIRC, they were $5.
Saw Jimmy Buffett here on his Coconut Telegraph Tour, and so many other concerts over the years…The B-52’s, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Hooters, The Outfield, Bruce Springsteen, George Strait, Alan Jackson and the list goes on.
We haven’t been to a concert in so long I can’t even remember the last one we saw.
But, I know if George Strait comes around again Carolyn will want to see him. She was in Vegas for one of his shows many years ago (before I knew her) and got to meet him backstage with a group of others. Even if the tickets are ridiculously expensive, I’ll hafta’ deal with it…!!!!! :hilarious:
There's no real country music here. I would LOVE to see a George Straight concert. I would really have loved to see Toby Keith....I love his music, but he died last year, so that's never going to happen. Whenever we go to the states, we find a country station if we can on the radio. Easy in Wyoming, but harder in a lot of other places. I have a whole playlist on spotify. I've got a lot of the classics from when I was in high school....Reba of course, Garth brooks, George Straight, Martina McBride, Steve Wariner, Collin Raye, John Michael Montgomery, Rascal Flatts, Lonestar, Brad Paisley, Shedaisy, the Chicks...and then some more modern stuff from when we went to Wyoming/South Dakota in 2022. Walker Hayes, Scotty McCreery, Dylan Scott...
I miss country music over here!! It's just not a thing here.
