I did hit a pothole and end up with a flat like ten years ago. It was so bad that it damaged the rim.

I was in Busch Gardens over the weekend and was driving back. I'd gotten the low tire pressure indicator, so I filled the tires up before leaving. Well, I was like 40 minutes on the road when the indicator came back on. I found a safe area and looked at the tire. It had a hole in the sidewall. Most likely a nail, but it wasn't there anymore.

So there I am, shortly before 10 pm on a Sunday, still with a few hours drive ahead...and I had to call AAA to get my tire fixed. I got home at 2 am.
