I usually buy Kindle copies, but I got a bunch of good hardbacks. I got the entire Fourth Wing series (I have Onyx Storm on Kindle too...oh well, lol). I got Lessons in Chemistry and the latest Hunger Games book. Then I preordered the latest Emily Henry book and Abby Jimenez book. Emily Henry is one of my favorite authors, so I always preorder her books and did a hardcover of her last one. Hunger Games I own the entire series and had to add the latest one.

Sadly, I also ordered refills of the Dawn Power wash, and one of them leaked. My initial order of books was damaged except for the first Fourth Wing book. Target ended up sending us replacements and didn't make us return the first set. We're going to donate them to the library to see if they can use them. I think at least Iron Flame they can use. Obviously, if I paid good money for them, I want the books undamaged, but library books get wear and tear, so they might be in acceptable condition for them. Have to see.
Yeah, some things I buy on Kindle, and some I buy just the regular book. I've got all the paperbacks of the Outlander Series, but man would those be handy on Kindle because they are huge. I have Lessons in Chemistry on Kindle....good book. I have the Hunger Games in paperback, so I can't buy the newest one yet, as it's only in hardback. I also just preordered the newest Emily Henry....it comes out in a few weeks, right? I haven't read the Fourth Wing books, but I hear good things....I might eventually get that one. Another of my favorite authors is TJ Klune. I LOVED House in the Cerulean Sea, and I need to read the sequel Somewhere Beyond the Sea so I can discuss it with E. I also loved Under the Whispering Door, though it made me BAWL. I liked In the Lives of Puppets, but not as much as the others. He just had a new one come out that I need to get, but I'll get it on Kindle, I think.

Today I bought Slewfoot: A Tale of Bewitchery by Brom on kindle. I saw it at the book store and it was 25 bucks in paperback and that's just too rich when I could get it for 11 on Kindle.

But there's a bookstore that was closed for about two weeks because of the fire in Arnhem, so while they were closed, you could support them by buying gift cards, so I did that, and they are open again, so I went and got Maus by Art Spiegelman and Wicked by Gregory Maguire. I only had to pay an extra 8 euros. Then we went to the other bookstore where they have couches and you can sit and read. We had a few hours to kill, so we went there and I bought Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and I got The Baby Dragon Cafe by A.T. Qureshi.

I love Emily and Abby too. I’ve read all of Emily’s books and most of Abby’s.

I love Abby Jimenez’s books. I like that some have been set in Minneapolis/St.Paul and I recognize some of the actual places. I read in Emily Henry book and I wasn’t that thrilled but I’ve been thinking of giving ber another chance. I wish I could remember which one I read so I don’t reread that one.
Do you remember what it's about? I've read all of them. A lot of people said they didn't like People We Meet on Vacation as much. And there's one that was apparently renamed..I'd have to look up which one, but if you know what it was about, I might be able to tell you which one it was.

I guess there are a couple I haven't read that are not romance ones or something.

I’m thinking it was the People We Meet on Vacation. I would have to look at the descriptions then I would probably remember.

I found out moms Dumbo's are acting up again according to dad:joyfull:.

According to dad, the Dumbo's tied up the Easter Bunny with bungie cords in my parents computer room. They did that to steal the Easter Bunny's eggs that have money inside.

Wisconsin weather in March is crazy again. My area was 73 degrees yesterday, but it was 38 as a high today.
WI weather is surely unique. Coming from tropical climates a family member went to grad school at UW Madison and that first experience with winter was a doozy for sure. I give kudos for anyone who can live in these conditions annually.

I survived it for 63 years just 20 miles from the Canadian/New York/Vermont border. Although I survived if I come back again and end up in that type location I will be finding my way south as soon as I have learned to walk. My parents can come along if they wish.
