Boma and Sanaa are both really good for dinner, and Boma is great for breakfast, too. I also love Ohana for dinner, but I know that's kind of a controversial one...people seem to either love it or hate it. I didn't care for the breakfast there. And I've HEARD Kona is good for breakfast, but I've never been there, so I don't know. Trattoria al Forno at the Boardwalk was a fantastic breakfast when we went there in 2019, but I haven't been there recently, so I would ask someone who has. And if you want something pretty casual, Beaches and Cream at the beach club is great. Their Grilled Cheese and tomato soup are good. I've heard mixed things about Sebastian's Bistro, but the menu doesn't appeal to us, so we've never eaten there. One that I've heard good things about for brunch but have never tried is Olivia's at Old Key West. I know @Tuvalu has done that one.Good afternoon Party People! I know it's been a hot minute since I've been around. We are going to Orlando over memorial day weekend, and while this isn't a Disney trip, we plan to do as many Disney things outside the parks as we can, Disney Springs of course, Par-taking in the HEA fireworks, maybe some Disney mini golf, and a few ADR's at resorts. So I came back here to where I know all my disney experts and trusted friends are to get input. We haven't been to the world since 2019 and I am sure a lot has changed. OK, that being said... I would gladly love some input and thoughts.
We don't get in until after midnight to Sanford airport on the 23rd, so that days a wash. We are staying at the Holiday Inn Orlando-Disney Springs. So we can walk over to DS. A couple places that our high on our priority list: Brunch at Art Smith's Homecomin', Gideon's, and probably my favority Holiday Turkey sandwich from Earl of Sandwich for the road on Monday to eat on the plane. Are there any new Mid Range restaurants (hubby is not a fan of fancy) at the resorts we need to breakfast or dinner at? (we don't usually do much lunch) Do you have a favorite you must tell me about? We remember Boma being a good dinner last we went. We were looking at Sebastian's Bistro, thoughts? We were actually considering a trip up to Bu-cee's because we have never been. But not sure we want to waste precious time this trip.
What are your thoughts? What would you do with a long weekend at Disney with no parks?

I saw a picture of the Summerhouse ones... Gideons have more eye appeal to me. What would you do if you were doing a couple days stay with no parks?@Rista1313 the cookies at Gideon’s are good but so are the ones at the Summerhouse.
I’ve eaten squirrel. Tastes like chicken.
