@Cesar R M you'll appreciate this story from last night...

My father called me down to his office because his 15 year old desktop wasn't printing envelopes from MS word. He was completely frustrated; it was an adult temper tantrum (you work in IT, you know the type, lol). Anyway, I fiddled around with it for a while, removed where the printer was added multiple times, and restarted the computer. This room around 45 minutes because of how dang slow that computer is. He had also hit print 7 times, so the queue was jammed up.

I got it restarted and got the envelope to start printing. Only...that man had no envelopes in the printer. The tray was just empty. Not only that, but the envelope he was trying to print wasn't even the right one...

I called him a doofus and told him next time, he can use the perfectly good hand me down laptop I gave him FOR EXACTLY THIS REASON if he's going to be cheap and not get another computer. Which also has a copy of MS office on it. He was like "wait that has MS word on it?" 🙄 Yes... *sigh*

Did some Christmas tree decorating today.

Put up 4 strings of mini-lights. Stood back to look at the lights, and realized that one tree branch was sticking out, and needed to be cut back a bit. Found some (manual) hedge clippers, and cut about 3 inches off the branch.

Turned the lights back on, but one of the strings didn't light up. 🤔 Reason was, that along with the branch trimming, I also cut off the end of the light string by mistake (the green wire kinda blended in with the green pine tree) . . . and the plug ended up on the floor. Oops . . . :hilarious:

I don't understand your dad at all in this case when it comes to getting a new computer. Your dad's computer is what my younger brother and my dad would call a "box of rocks".

I have a 10 year old computer that was refurbished before I bought it and I was checking for deals from October till I bought computer during Thanksgiving week. Lets say the 10 years old can't be updated to Windows 11 and has shown signs of other computer issues the 10 year old computer has been called a "box of rocks".

From Amazon, I was able to get a mini computer for $300.00 without counting stuff like shipping. What I got for a $300.00 Mini computer was a 4.3 GHZ computer with 32GB of Ram, and the processor was a Ryzen 7 5825U (upgraded 5700U). I am saying getting a affordable computer is possible and I don't know what your dad is waiting for as a result.

That's what you get for exposing your brain to too much cold air. It freezes up on occasion. ;)

Fun fact some raccoons are not only not allowed to have accounts but have been banned outright from even entering financial institutions;) Part Interpol, part the health department;)
Those bandits have always had permanent masks, partly concealing their facial identities. It's a constant battle for Interpol and the F B I, to keep up with their shenanigans. The sanitation issues come in as a close second.
