Why? What's wrong with Taylor Swift? She's very talented, a prolific songwriter, and a powerful voice for women. She's pretty awesome, even if you don't like her music.
She's not vocally especially talented, like I said in the other comment, but she also does a lot less vocally wrong than many recording artists. You can also tell if you listen to her redone recordings that she's had voice lessons. Love Story is the one that's most easy to tell. That one is tricky because it's like, where do you breathe? And she picked all the wrong spots on the first try; it's much better on the re-recorded version.

She says "I know! I worked very hard on my music this year."

I've been a very good influence on her, clearly. Our driving instructor loved giving her lessons and he'd test her on songs that came on the radio. She could sing along with all the 80s songs. They had a lot of fun during lessons.
Mom and I were listening to Abba, and I realized I know more of the words than she does.

Thanks to the Mamma Mia movies.

No, her voice isn't amazing, but she's a pretty good performer. I'd MUCH rather listen to her than Adelle. The radio goes off if Adelle comes on. She's horrible, and I know that's a very unpopular opinion, but she has REALLY bad habits. She scoops, she tends to go flat, I just can't stand listening to her. But Taylor has some fantastic songs, and as far as I know, she writes all her own songs. More than I could do. Her talent is more in the writing and performing, not necessarily in the technical side of singing, but I think the performance is more important, as long as you're on key, which she is. She does have some raw talent. There are some performers who are really NOT good singers....Lizzo comes to mind. Brilliant flautist, but she can't sing.

Oh, we have the same opinion of Adele in this house. In addition to what you listed above, her enunciation is non-existent.

She went to a performing arts school; she really ought to know better.

I'd much rather listen to Taylor because she doesn't have those bad habits.

In other news..
The person who I had the interview I could not understand anything, said she wont be doing any face to face recruiting in the next 3 months. So this opportunity is gone.
Still she gave me the question in text just to clarify now that there is no chance to advance.
And I swear, she could not say "RAID" to save her life x_x

@StarWarsGirl : the question was about if I knew about RAID 0 and RAID 1 XD

Did anyone ever notice that one of the things that made The Beatles so popular was that you could understand every single word in every single song and could always easily sing along. We maybe didn't understand what was meant by those words, but we heard them clearly. 😎
