I'm not going near any retail outlet from now until Dec 26th. We're done Christmas shopping sans 3 gift cards. Runs and hides under boulder
The only Christmas gifts left I have to buy is gift cards for my parents. My mom gave my a list of stuff most of the stuff is classified under gift cards or money.

My younger brother is taken care of due to him wanting used video games for older game systems and they are already bought as a result.

Calling @Figgy1. If I made a ricotta frosting and put it on a cake, can it still frozen?
I wouldn't. My suggestion is making the cake(s) ahead freeze the cakes and frost once the cakes are thawed. IMHO too high a risk of frosting separation while thawing (getting soggy). If it's a cake that's already made, I'd take the risk and freeze it, if it's that or a chance of going bad. Hope that helps

Sadness, I thought the other stuff in the frosting would help freeze it. I just didn't want a frosting with oodles of butter :)

In case someone wants to order a cake at the Overpriced Cake Shop, shipping is more than the cake. At least 1200 miles away. They have a 6 inch to a 12 inch cake.

So a 6 inch Millionaire cake is $105 plus shipping and it totaled about $260. I wonder how many orders they get?
I'll be surprised if the boardwalk location lasts 3 years due to the prices I seen.

It's ridiculous. They would have been better off putting it over in Disney Springs instead of Boardwalk, but definitely NOT at those prices.

The expensive ice cream place at Boardwalk didn't last either. But the one that's there now is very, very good. We like it better than Beaches and Cream.

I've done signatures and didn't mind the bill but that cake place, no way, no how and it's not just because of the allergy thing. They are insane, 15 maybe and that would be pushing it even if it's as good as they say. The meal prices are even crazier. 3 years tops, 2 wouldn't surprise me

I’ll be surprised if it lasts a year, actually.
I’m sure initial curiosity will drive foot traffic for a while. Certain folks will go there to buy a slice (or not) just to say they were there, and/or put it in their stream/vlog/TR, etc.
The vast, vast majority of guests won’t even go there, and it’ll probably be a one and done for the majority of those that do, IMO.
Only time will tell.
