He was way too puffy, we like our pups more shaved down. So we borrowed a pair of clippers from my sister and shaved him down a little. We didn't want to have it be traumatic for him (or us) so we weren't too concerned about making it all pretty. We think he looks better now

Giggle yes too poofy for a pup or breed. Background I looked into a career change before my son was born. I went to school for a year at night to become a licensed certified dog groomer. Became a hobby and extra income

It appears the pup has clipper burn. Too short in areas and against grain though the pattern is correct. Puppy skin is like baby skin very sensitive. Go with grain never opposites as it goes twice the depth against grain. Red spots burn. For a pup a 4F blade body Ears and private areas a 10 blade. Eyes away from eye motion in corners. As they age you can go to a 7F for body and use 4F for legs and furnishings. Groomers hand scissor legs and Most of face and paws. I used clippers to
Round off ears some use scissors. Use Kool Lube on blades as they get hot and burn our furry friends. I have a large fishing box of blades. If you’d like to borrow some as they are pricey Can mail them. Also concider A professional groomer and ask if you can shadow them so there are not bald red hot spots. Good luck. He is a cutie 🥰

Thanks for the tips and offer to lend blade but this will be the last time we ever attempt at shaving him. It was just a desperate move to get the extra fur off. Our goal was not to nick him or spook him, luckily we didn’t do either. I do feel bad that he might have gotten a little razor burn but he doesn’t seem bothered by it. I did make sure B turned off the blades occasionally to make sure they didn’t get hot.

Normally my sister clips our dog and she will do this one. She does a fantastic job and is patient with our dogs. She wasn’t available for awhile to buzz him for us. I know that B and I aren’t patient enough to groom our dogs. I’m glad my sister is willing to clip them, I took our old dog Henry to two professional groomers and that was just bad. The first one wasn’t patient and complained about him so much the vet (which is where the groomer did her work) sent a letter to me telling me my dog needed to go to a pet psychiatrist. That was the end of that groomer and then I tried another and had had been so traumatized by the first groomer he didn’t trust the next and freaked out so much he popped blood vessels in his eyes. But he trusted my sister and she and he never had problems during the grooming process.

If the razor burn starts to irritate him, Bag Balm is great to use.

When we flew to France a few years ago our airline was Iceland air and we had a quick layover in Iceland on both legs of the journey . I wanted to add a day to see a bit of the country, B said no. It looks like Iceland air might be our airline for France again this coming summer and I am going to lobby hard to spent some more time there. It looks like a beautiful country. And what I saw from the plane was nice.
I flew Iceland air from Toronto to Paris via Iceland. I thought they were a great airline.

They actually have non-stops via BWI to Iceland. Which I knew before my neighbors went to Iceland. No, I don't know how I knew that. I'd consider using them if I decided to go to Europe to avoid Dulles.

We actually have a second airline, Play Airlines, also based in Iceland. I have no idea how we got two Iceland airlines in our airport.

Understand that I took that trip about 6 and a half years ago, so i don't know if it is still the same quality or not, That said, however, at the time it was the best ride I had taken in a long time. Four Stars and two enthusiastic thumbs up.
