Back in the day I used to love going to our old airport to see friends or family off or pic them up (and, of course, be flyin’ out to somewhere ourselves ;)). Back then you could go to the gate with them and watch their plane take off, or go to the gate to watch their plane land and greet them as they got off the plane, as the runway was in full view.
Unless I had someplace else to be, I would always hang around after their flight took off into the wild blue yonder for a while to watch other planes takeoff and land...yep, any kind of earthly or spaceflight are my shiny objects...!!!!! 😍:hilarious:;):)
As far as watching planes taking off, that is what my grandfather basically did when he was in the airforce. I know he served for sure during the time period after the end of World War ii and before the Koran War. I don't know the exact dates.

@StarWarsGirl the cube should have an interesting back story, that could be taken in so many directions
That should be an interesting one, especially since Hugh is back. We know Voyager destroyed one of the Transwarp hubs in Endgame, which would have seriously hurt the Borg. They also killed the Queen (again). They could have recovered almost 20 years later. But then there's Hugh and that whole can of worms with forming his own collective, and now he's back.

Also, what about Q? Will he feature in this series? Is this all his mess?

I have many questions.

Yes it's a thing and they really do help clothes last longer;) They are rather inexpensive and can be found at Target or Walmart or they can easily be made

I bought a few this past week to replace worn ones. $2.47 Money well spent. I also put Lula dresses and sweaters in these to keep them from stretching out in the washer along with flagging them to to air dry and NO Dryer laundry.

A loves it. We're all so much happier in the new house. We live a block or so away from a really cool park with a splash pad, within walking distance of the downtown area which has a cute small town vibe, within walking distance of her future school. When we get home instead of just hanging around the house, we go for walks to get ice cream, or go to the splash pad, or walk to the library, or ballet, or whatever. It's actually kinda magical.

She loves the house itself, even though we're still not fully moved in and settled. In the winter I would have been unpacked and organized within a couple weeks, but it's summer and we're busy doing all the things I mentioned above, plus going to the lake and the pool and the zoo. She has the entire attic to herself as her space. Which she loves now but she's going to REALLY love it when she's a teenager. I'm building her a treehouse in the back yard, too.

It's the perfect house for us. I'm so glad I took the leap of faith and moved us. I know it probably was a bit crazy of an idea, but it's made such a huge difference in our lives already. And we've only been in it two and a half months.

I whole heartedly agree and am so glad this has worked for you. My family too is beyond happy and comfortable with our decision to Move On vs plugging on in the carp dealt.
I love that A is happy now and enjoying her life as I am equally happy and proud of you for finding the inner strength to create a new life for your daughter and yourself. We seem to be becoming a thread of women with strengths to overcome. God Bless us all!!!! You are an awesome woman of strength. What an example to your daughter.

Got an email that magicbands on there way!!! Really early for a Nov trip but yayyy!😉

We received multiple magical bands for our trip that we upgraded. Now because the dang airfare is so high on the day we were to depart we are going 2 days early 'cause the difference will easily pay for a resort between us for 2 days. So now, more magic bands will be awarded. A strange plus to the trip. No more money, two more days and extra special magic band. It is a win..

James still remembers things from when he was very little and has forgotten things I thought he'd remember from 8-11 EDIT he remembers all things SWW

My kids have strong memories of their WDW trips from the time they were one. Of course not the majority, heck I don't either. But they each have memories from their earliest trips
Me my entire minor age life I don't have day to day exact memories. I sat through a year of school with classmates and yet those years I have very little exact memories of day to day life in those classrooms let alone hour to hour I guess our hour to hour memories fade but there are other memories that stick. With my kids it more Disney family time over daily life.

That looks super amazing! I wish it was on free of charge CBS...the CBS I already have😢

Wouldn't matter if you happen to have DirecTV, like I do. They suck. They cut CBS network programming for yet another (fabricated) dispute between the giant AT&T and CBS network tv. We're paying for this service and they blacked it out over the weekend (with minimal notice!) to 11 major cities, not just mine. (We do have an over the air antenna, and I can pull CBS in, but eventually will be looking at other options overall -- whether satellite or other.)
