So Galaxy's Edge reservations became available today for Disneyland for non-resort guests...we were planning to be in Disneyland two days after the reservation system stopped. About 10 minutes before they started issuing the reservations, I thought I might try to get one for earlier in our trip. I figured we could change up one of our L.A. days....so guess who has a reservation for Galaxy's Edge?

Yep....this girl! Brad is so excited!

Any word on the menu? I don't have any sense yet, of what kind of food they'll be serving.

I haven't really paid attention to the food. I do know one of the snack stands is going to have some sort of BBQ type thing and that will have mobile ordering. The priority will be to ride Smuggler's Run, Brad wants to shop and maybe do the build a lightsaber thing, and then maybe we will mobile order food and explore the land. That will probably take up most of the 4 hour block. If there is time I would like to do the cantina. But we could make that a priority another visit later in the trip when we have to queue up and wait when there isn't a reservation system.

I see this as a win/win. You and Brad get to go, and I get to enjoy the awesome pictures you are going to take!

I am pretty much done packing for the weekend. Traveling down with another mom who works in the gym’s office. Guess who gets to hear of what is going to happen next year with the program on the 4 hour drive? Yep, me!!! I hope it will be some good stuff. She said she was excited about it. Her daughter is on dd’s team but is a year older. Dd could be a mini one more year because she is a November birthday. I am hoping she moves up an age group and level. Hoping some of the news will be about possible placements.

Got busy with some stuff this evenin’, so checkin’ in late...!
We’re havin’ our annual office team-building event tomorrow.
We’re clockin’ into “office - event/function” from noon to 1p for office treat lunch, then goin’ to an indoor axe throwin’ venue, THEN happy hour...!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious:
We’ve been divided into 4 teams...
“Bad Axes” (think biker-ish), “All My Axes Live in Texas”, (country/western), “Axellent 80’s” (selfexplanatory - the team I’m on), and some unicorn thing that I can’t remember the name of...!!!!! :hilarious:
I gathered everything I could from home (without goin’ to the the Salvation Army, Goodwill, etc.) to look 80’s-ish...!!! :cyclops:;)
We all had to sign an online waiver in case of any axe-idents...!!!!! :rolleyes::D
Anyway, should be a great time, as always, and I’ll post pics later tomorrow...!!! :)

Sweet dreamin’/mornin’ to all...!!!
See y’all Laterrrrrrrrrrr...!!!!!!!!!!! :joyfull::)

Someone I work with, one of the friends went to Animal Kingdom right when Avatar opened - waited 5 hours for one ride. That's insane. I imagine Star Wars will be worse.
