I haven't been to Wisconsin yet but it's on my list of States to visit. It's nice to know where I can get a decent meal and good Disney conversation when I finally make it to your state. I'm not a fan of the cold so I'll plan my visit for when the snow is gone.
I can tell you that some parts of Wisconsin does have seasonal businesses such as some Door County does. Businesses. Some of the Door County Business close anywhere from October to end of November, but they open up again in April or in some time in May. The Nature of Door County is their villages, and townships are more or less tourism destinations.

Door County gets their most tourism in in the June to Labor Day.

Cheaper than POP?! I’m going to have to look into this for early September Food & Wine (Walk to Epcot) trip.

**Having the best time at CBR right now! But I always wake up too early, like I’m 8 years old on Christmas morning lol.

HS this morning for the 30th anniversary - have a SDD FP, and hoping to pick up the commemorative Christmas ornament. 🎄

My DD is very diligent. She doesn’t give up and checks frequently That is how we also got Hilton Bonnett Creek for well under $100. Never pay rack rate

Has anyone tried the "dark theme" yet? (re: up in the Forum Help section, there is a thread about this. Steve mentioned a test thing that you can try, to see if you like it, over the present lighter mode.) I don't want to try the new test thingie, because I probably wouldn't be able to figure out how to get it back to the "regular" view we have now! :hilarious:

@Mr Ferret 88 or @Cesar R M , or @StarWarsGirl, have any of you tried it?
Just turned it on. My sensitive eyes like it very much.

So I'm so envious right now... one of the managers in my area is going to Disney this weekend.... but not only is she going to Disney.. she was invited by her husbands bosses (her husband is a private pilot) and apparently his daughter is a member of Club 33. So she gets to go to Club 33, they are doing the VIP tours so she gets a plaid to just escort her through the fastpass lines for any ride. For Free...

She had no idea what it was all about, so when she started asking me about Club 33, my eyes probably got as big as saucers!!! Can't wait to hear about this trip when she gets back!

This off the subject, but we are all used to that.
I'm feeling joyful right now.
My students really came thru on their Spring Concert tonight :joyfull::happy:
That is awesome! I went to my dd's last concert of the year. Because they do all the senior awards and recognitions, all 4 bands play, and the spectators are in the bleachers. That went from 7-9. Then there is cake and punch in the cafeteria. Seniors give awards to underclassmen. Some of the awards have been handed down over a period of years, and the person giving the award always says who gave it to them, and who that person got it from. It is kind of fun hearing names from when my son was in the program. Didn't get home until 11. Long night, but a lot of fun.

And, not sure how, but DD got her varsity letter for band! It is on a point system, and not many sophomores earn it. Most earn it as seniors or juniors.

She also got a future leaders plaque that has been handed down through trombone section leaders. Interviews haven't happened yet, but I guess she has an inside track. And the female section leader awarded the 2 trombone girls with tiaras and wands, because it I should hard being a girl in a male dominated world, and girls run the world. Now she has to find a safe place for them, so she can hand them down her senior year.

And as I type this, the rain drops are falling again. From TX, with love, I suppose?:hilarious::hilarious: Seriously, the sewers are already at capacity, and we are being warned to limit how much water we are using. Sharing is caring, but this is a little overkill.

@Rista1313 check road conditions before you head this way. There were flooded roads yesterday, and with more rain today, there could be more. I didn't see any listed around St. Charles, but there were parts of interstate closed. I am not sure how they are today, or if that affects your route.
