Slade was first. Noddy Holder and Jim Lea of Slade wrote it and released it in 1973. Quite Riot did an inferior cover version in 1983.
Here, this will make you feel better - I quizzed Hubby about Slade.
He knew all about them, knew their biggest U.S. hit was "Run Runaway", and that they did "Come (sic) on Feel the Noize" before Quiet Riot.

There you go, you have a kindred spirit. In a 46 year old, married Canadian. :hilarious:

:joyfull: That does make me feel better! I have heard that Slade was more popular in Canada than in the US. Actually, they were more popular almost everywhere but the US. Ozzy Osbourne has said they should have been bigger than the Beatles, but every time they came close to making it big in the US something would happen to ruin it.

Neither would I, with one exception: your budget can take a hit. (Then again, we only go around once and we're all going to croak at some point, so what the heck? Eat, drink and be merry?!! :D)
The Boss' favourite saying:
Life's a B****
And then you die.
... And then someone else moves in to your apartment.

Yeah, I don't really get it either.
