Ah yes, the Nissan Cube. The car that looks like something you would buy from Ikea and assemble at home.Every year, we name our rental car.
I proudly present Ruby. Butt-ugly, but plenty of headroom for Hubby.

what about us mayo lovers?
We might be the kind of people who like to try on hats:

Thanks everyone. I'm having a blast sharing my day with y'all, blow by blow, as it were.
Hubby and SIL can't believe any of you are interested.
I think you are ('cause we're all such geeks), but feel free to ignore me for the next 10 days if you're not.
Everytime I pull out my phone, they say, "Are you talking to your Peeps?"
FYI - I slept like a log! Skipped the Advil C & S, because I didn't feel like counting any more bathroom tiles at 4:00 a.m. Heading out in 1/2 hour to grab some coffee - will not make that mistake again! - and then off to MK.
Tam just looked out the window, folks are still wearing touques and winter jackets. Think I'll bundle up a little more today. I hate being cold! Current temp - 46 degrees F. 43 with the windchill.
28 at home!
Come to Florida for the sunshine, they say. Come to Florida for the heat, they say!
Later Peeps.
Love it!
Lots of newbies there today. I love it when the audience gasps, tries to catch the jewels, and then applauds at the end.

The Stitch ride.

The coffee is for the headache.
I am unaffected by caffeine sleep-wise.
The Publix we used to previously visit has relocated. Still just off 192, but on the other side of the road now.
No biggie though, we didn't need much.
Just watching the news and they are reporting two interesting things:
Today was the coldest day since April something or other. Temps in the low-40's!
Also, there was a minor fire on the roof of the SDMT tonight, caused by burning embers from the fireworks.
Hoping to catch more info on this on another newscast at 11:30.
Yes, a hummus and slaw sandwich is really delish!! (You might like it; it's really tasty.)
I also love lobbie, but the picture above geeks me out. There is waaaayyyyyyy too much mayo on that puppy. You need to experience a REAL lobster roll up here in the Northeast--big chunks of lobbie, a little lettuce and light dressing--now, that's a lobster roll!!!
So, for a change of pace, I decided to watch the local news (instead of logging on here) around 4:30 this morning. Hung out and watched tv for about an hour or so.
Guess what one of the lead "national" stories was?? The 7 Dwarfs Mine Train went on fire!!!!!!!!!! Apparently, there were fireworks from one of the shows and some cinders or whatever hit the roof, and there was a big fire!! OMG! I saw the footage (flames going up pretty high in the dark sky). The report didn't state how much damage was done yet. Oh brother . .. @JenniferS , avoid that area today. Go to a different park instead.
That rink looks familiar. Chaparral Ice??
Ears are almost back to normal. You guys are very photogenic. How are your ears today? I hope you are feeling better.
It wasn't that big, was put out quickly and the ride opened again not long after it was put out. Can we say oversensationalized media?
