I have relatives who regularly post about the dangers of vaccines on their FB pages. I call them out every time they use a bad source.

I mean, I understood when my cousin-in-law did not want the baby to have five vaccines in one day and then chose to limit the amount he did get because the poor kid already has a latex allergy, so they are proceeding with caution just in case (and considering a certain relative of his is full on allergic to one vaccine...guess who that would be:rolleyes:...I don't blame her). What I don't understand is why my aunt and cousin regularly post unverified articles about vaccinations on their FB pages. And they are both medical professionals! But it must be true; you read it on the internet.
People sometimes do not even process or try to understand to verify the validity.
Its like their brain closes down and only check the image or the text, not the source or if its logical.
I've seen people who are dumb enough to believe these fake Abraham Lincoln jokes about how he loves the internet.

At least he is smart enought (no doubt, taught by his smart mother) that its a big part of purchasing a home. Too many people just ask "how much is the payment?" and if they can meet the payment, they buy.

When I bought this house the interest rate was 11.5% resulting in a 30 year mortgage. The next year the rate fell to 9.5 % and I refinanced. It brought my payment down by $150 a month and I went to a 15 year mortgage. Still I could afford the $150 I had been paying so I kept paying it, knocking off 3 years of the 15 years. I went from 30 years to 12 years, yep @seahawk7 ManChild had a great question.

Canadian woman dies in Mexico after whale crashes onto tourist boat
Authorities have not released her identity

The port director in the northwest Mexico beach resort of Cabo San Lucas says a Canadian woman has died from injuries suffered when a surfacing grey whale crashed onto a tourist boat.

Port director Vicente Martinez confirmed the 45-year-old woman's death Wednesday.

Firefighter commander Juan Carvajal Figueroa says the woman was in a boat with other tourists returning to port around noon when the whale jumped from the water and landed on the boat.

Mexican navy personnel responded to the scene and moved the woman to shore. She was taken to a clinic, where she died during treatment.

Authorities did not release her identity.
wow.. talk about beached whale jokes D:

reminds me when people have died skewered by jumping sword fishes.
or hit square by flying mantas (sea pancakes)

I think the most dramatic was about the news of that group in a small yatch, who almost got bit by a jumping white shark.
