Though my problem is - how big can you get? Amazon has become the new evil corporate overlord taking over WalMart's position. Both Apple and Amazon are approaching 1 trillion dollars. Disney is by far the biggest tradition entertainment company. Netflix, I really have no idea why their stock price is so high.

I really hope Disney stays with Fox's artsy movies.

Maybe, maybe it saved me from some very hard work with very little growth. I just want to work at least 1 cycle in a cruise to scratch my bucketlist.

The weird part is that the offer is up there. Hence why I think maybe they want only American, Canadian or western European individuals (England, Germany, etc..)

Sympathy like.
On our last Carnival cruise, 2 of our nightly assigned dinner dining staff were from Peru, and the 3rd was from Taiwan, as was our cabin attendant.
I know DCL is your preferred, but, maybe you could get your foot in the door with another cruise line, or two, and eventually land there...?!
Just a thought...?!
Also, I know those are probably not the types of positions you’re looking for, but, maybe just try some other types of positions you think you can fill...?!
Anyway, the best of luck for your career future, Cesar...!!!!! :)

Well, when they opened a warehouse in Baltimore they created thousands of jobs that weren't just minimum wage jobs, they carry things you cannot find elsewhere, usually at lower prices, they save me money and trips to various stores for things like cat food, they charge less for those items and they show up at my door, my Star Trek Blue Rays were super cheap and showed up the day after I ordered them, and they also are the creators of the wonderful show "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel."

All in all, all hail the evil corporate overlord.

FYi, Walmart is still about three times the size of Amazon and takes home more revenue. But Amazon's company value is greater. Still, sales and revenue are sales and revenue...

Considering how almost every single movie under Disney's tutelage has been Tent Poles.. I do not see this happening.
At least not under the Disney and its distribution companies.

Regarding your response above to @FutureCEO , my thoughts are smack dab in the middle, between yours and his. Although I also have a certain amount of disdain for the giants, they're not all bad. You shared some good points above.

However, I far prefer some sort of balance between large and small. I don't want to see so many smaller businesses kick the bucket, because they can't compete. I've supported smaller businesses on occasion, even when the prices were a bit higher than the giants, because the principle was far more important to me. And often, I just like going into stores to talk to "live" people, versus clicking away on a keyboard, and never having human contact. There has to be room in this country for all.

The 20th Century Fox logo is disturbing with Mickey in it. That 20th Century Fox logo has always been iconic.

Just curious--was this only a temporary advertising thing to promote any recent news, or do you know if they're actually going to make that permanent in the logo? Pray, no . . .

OMG! Just one more day for you and you're off on a fun cruise!!! Wishing you and your family all the best and enjoy every moment!!!

(P.S.: Check your diet at the dock before you come aboard the ship -- you can always retrieve it, when you return. ;) ;) )

(P.P.S.: When you get a chance, take photos for us landlubbers, so that we can vicariously live through the vacation fun, too!! :joyfull: )
