Safe travels, don't forget to get some food at the fountain(and not just the goodies;)) and have a magical time xoxo

Flying to DisneyWorld, Staying at the Swan?

Can I be in your baggage? XD
I will be your personal photo stalker.

Hi everybody!!! Got back from WDW last night. Just skimmed over this page (where I left off 5 days ago), and I'm now at least 12 pages or more behind. Wlll try to get caught up today.

Today or tomorrow, I will have some fun pictures (hubs has to load ITunes to my phone I have to get the pictures out of it, so I can share them). I took very specific pictures for a bunch of my Chit Chat pals here. :joyfull:

And no, I won't post a ton of pictures or long explanations either--I don't do a TR. (Cesar, I know your pictures will be much better than anything I could take with the phone, but I think you might like a couple of them.)

Figgy, I saw your relative at EPCOT . . . ;)

Yea, hair be damned. Although I usually wear a cap anyway ;). And I shave the morning of the day we fly out and not for the rest of the trip. I brush my teeth, shower, put on deoderant so as not to be offensively odiferous to fellow Guests ;), put on clean clothing every morning, but, beyond a dang darn...don't give a rip about my cap, gray hair, or beard...I'm on vacation, by gum...!!!!!!! :joyfull:

:hilarious:

Oh yeah. Rude, making doing my job difficult, accusing me of making up rules that are in fact rules. Accountant with an arrogance problem, let's put it that way.

That's not good. Many of those types of scenarios play out, no matter where you will work in your career. It just happens. The trick is how you deal with these people. Somehow, I see you coming out on top! :)

Actually had a full park day yesterday too. Went to AK, but our fp’s in the AM were useless. EE was closed temporarily for hours. Too cold for Kali. Did do FoP. Everyone but ds enjoyed it. Apparently when he said he didn’t like simulator rides, he wasn’t kidding. He looked ill when it was over. On top of that his seat back wouldn’t disengage so we needed to wait for a CM to let him out. We did eat at Satuli. I got their sidea. They were very good. We rested in the rv for a bit and them went to Epcot in the evening. We did colortopia again. So fun! Walked around the countries and then watched Illuminations. The weather was fine. First sunny morning today. On line for SDMT now. :)

Hi there!! I thought of you this week when I was at WDW. (Don't know if you're back home yet, as I'm just trying to catch up on threads now.)

Two thoughts:

1. Fastpass -- Sometimes helpful, but quite often, attractions break down. I feel bad for people who plan carefully and around their fastpass selections, only to have a ride/show down. Very frustrating--especially if you're with a group. While I was down there (solo) this week, EE was down, Spaceship Earth was down and Test Track was down--and those are just the only ones I happened to notice. at the time. Didn't have fastpass so no big deal, but it was aggravating to many. The only 2 fastpasses I used were for Peter Pan in MK, and Frozen over in EPCOT. (@StarWarsGirl , I finally saw Frozen -- cute, but not spectacular. I'd never wait 80 minutes in a standby for it--which was the time posted.)

2. Pandora -- Bus got there at 7:20 AM (as you know, early opening for park guests--I was at the Swan). After security, card verification and a quick stop at the restroom, I bolted over there and the long queue moved quickly. Inside the building, there were 2 longer lines (looked about 40 people at that point in each) and a SINGLE line!! Woo hoo!!! Within 3 minutes from there, I was on the ride!! AMAZING ride!! Loved it!!! When the ride was over, it was 8:20 AM. So I think that was great timing. Later that day, I heard a woman say that the standby was 3 hours and 40 minutes??!! Good lord, who would wait that long for anything??!! :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

Epcot morning. Should be our hottest day yet. The kids may get a chance at the pool today.

I noticed in Florida that people only go in pools if it's extremely hot out. On Tuesday morning around 8:00 AM, I went to (one of the 3 pools at Swan/Dolphin) and I was the only one swimming. It was overcast with some fairly dark clouds, but there was a nice breeze (maybe about 70ish that morning), and I couldn't understand why I was the only one in the pool?

I’m glad you are back and made it back safely. I hope you had a fantastic time in the world! And any pictures you want to post is fine with me!

I miss The Great Movie Ride 😥

Maybe it's just me, but I thought that DHS yesterday morning (at opening), was somewhat of a bust. Practically no food outlets open before lunch--just one for coffee & pastry, take-out. No shows until a few hours after park opening. Walked down various "streets" and it just seemed like more things were locked up than open. Zero energy. And with the GMR closed, that is a big loss. Crowds were light.

I did go to TOT right away--a walk on. Loved it--one of my absolutely favorite attractions in all of WDW.
Went on Star Tours (another walk on) and the new movie was fun. But beyond those two and just walking around, I only stayed a few hours. (Had an afternoon flight home, so I hadn't planned on staying the day--but even if I had a full day, I would have left and gone elsewhere.)
