Ok Help Needed from Parents of Little Girls! Please.

My sister leaves in 3 weeks for Disney.. I’m planning her trip. Any “must do’s” for little girls that I don’t know about?

They also purchased the DDP.. kid’s ages are 3&4.. any recommendations on good use of snack credits?
The Big Top by Dumbo has assorted snacks, The Plaza Ice Cream has some good ones, Les Artisans has some excellent sorbet and some for the adults not credit but so worth it;), again in France Les Hailles, Frozen sing along MGM, BATB MGM, make sure they have a fp for ETWB, Merida M&G, popcorn, anything in Germany. Sorry I'm not much help boys:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
Everything @figmentfan423 has said. More snack credit ideas are cinammon rolls from Gaston’s and waffles from Sleepy Hollow. You can get free pixie dust at the Barber Shop also. I would have skipped HS and did AK instead. Not much for little kids to do there. Just Little Mermaid, Muppets, and Playhouse Disney. I guess the BATB show. Safari at AK and Rafiki’s Planet Watch is fun for kids. The boat ride in Pandora. The Jungle Trek. Tree of Life show in the evenings. Guess it depends if they like animals. The Lion King Show and Finding Nemo are awesome as well. Meet and Greet at Planet Watch also.

Lucky. I checked and...nothing. That is ok. I am pretty sure DH doesn't want to pay for a third trip this year.

Not lucky, Infuriating.

We aren’t going in 2018.. and they finally send me a 30%??? Did they read my posts and do this to tempt me?! ;)
I’ve actually looked at the school calendar and message someone about fall soccer start dates..trying to figure out if I can fit a trip in. Im not though.. I have to pretend that I didn’t see the email.

...but 30%.....🤬🤬🤬🤬

So do I:cry::cry::cry::cry: We saw one for sale and decided we were still comparing to out past pup and it wasn't a rescue. Still not ready:cry:

I'm getting ready for a Pup. Hope you will be soon.

I am still trying to figure out what I want next. But I saw a Chocolate lab coming out of PETCO, the lady was older and the Pup was so well behaved. He sat down and enjoyed me petting him and telling him what a good boy he was, soaking it all up. He was a Big Boy with a Block Head. I asked how old he was....8 months. That one was going to be at least as Big as Walt. I was In Love.

Thanks! I hate planning my own Disney trips.. crazy that I’m planning someone else’s.. but my sister has no desire, I still don’t think she’s logged on to look at the specific parks. Her words- “Can you please make me a spreadsheet? Then we’ll have a meeting and we’ll go over everything then.” Lol.
We did her dining and FPs at 60 days.. the dining a few days before.

Only tv shows that niece watches is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Masha and the Bear.. she LOVES Minnie, Moana (who I know doesn’t meet), Ariel, Elsa, and just now starting to become a Belle fan.

The reason for the 2 BOG reservations is I found a 8am res on their last day.. thought it may benefit them to be in Fantasyland when the park opens.. do you think it’s a waste?
I would do Crystal Palace for breakfast over BOG.

Wait, a waffle is a snack credit?! I never knew that!

As far as AK. They do love animals.. but they’re at the zoo almost weekly. One of the things that drove me crazy in ‘16 was when T spent soooo much time brushing the animals.. we can do that at our zoo, At home, without going to Disney.lol

Don’t get me wrong, I love AK.. so does T.. when faced with a choice between AK and Epcot, we chose AK (and we love Epcot too).
For my sister, it was AK or HS, or only one MK day. I think HS is the best choice out of those specific choices. JTA and Phasma’s March alone are worth it imo.. and I think Fantasmic is fantastic. Plus, nephew will love ToT.

Did everyone receive it? Please tell me that everyone did receive it, Please!
Pin code! Yeah, I have been lucky enough to have gotten one for the last 2 years.

Sympathy like. I've settled into the trail runners because they seem to have a bit more support and can hold up to my walking. :joyfull:

I have Merrill's for winter and also good Merrill walking sandals. They real don't wear down hardly at all. My Asics rarely wear on the soles, the color holds nicely, they wear out from the inside if I wear them pretty much everyday. Usually I can get 6 months out of a pair or close anyhow.

HS is one of our favorites. I think with a 3&4 year old, HS is a better park than AK if choosing between the 2. The Star Wars stuff.. but also more rides available..and characters/shows..especially JTA.
They’re staying at AKL and we have a fantastic zoo & botanical gardens where we live.. without being able to do EE and Primevil Whirl, it made more sense to do HS.

I know, I know.. AK isn’t a zoo.. but—— it doesn’t have Star Wars, ToT, Fantasmic, or a Frozen Sing-a-Long either ;)
Are the little ones tall enough for those rides? Of course I am basing that on my kids who have been in 30% or lower percentile all there lives. ;)

For what it's worth, I've often thought that the best QS hotel restaurant food is at The Mara, at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (main building--Jambo House). Check out their menu on All Ears--it's still very good. My hunch is that part of the reason is because AKL is a distance from everything else (parks, etc.). So, I think they may pay more attention to their food outlets and have a larger menu, because they know that people don''t really have many other options--other than to wait for a bus to go somewhere, for a meal.
Agree on The Mara. We have eaten there and the menu is large. I have gotten the falafel there. The whole family can eat there without complaints.

Yep.. nephew is 42 inches! Niece is too short though.

Wow.. that IS lucky!!!!
So maybe there’s hope that I’ll receive another one if pass on this one..? That’s what I’ll tell myself.

I’m looking thru photos that I took at the skating party tonight (we made it for the last 40 minutes after baseball practice ended)..

WHO IS THIS KID?????
I don’t know if it’s because of the graininess of the photo.. but he looks so old!!!! :(

He looks so tall now! I had 2 kids for an orthodontist eval today. DS had been there 2 years ago at 12. Wasn’t ready then. Ready now. They took new photos. They had the old ones as well. All I could say was wow!!! What a difference 2 years makes. You don’t realize it when you see them everyday, but when you actually can make a comparison with another picture from am earlier time, it really hits how quick they grow.

Thanks.
With him being cornered early this morning and blowing himself to shreds the madness seems to finally be over.
Unfortunately, ever-expanding also means the greater the chances for crazy. "Keep Austin Weird" is fine, "Make Austin Crazy" ain't.
Although, obviously, not good for the business I'm in, I really do miss the old, much smaller Austin.

I pray it is over...even our news was still reporting on the Austin Police tweets this morning saying to pay attention to packages....etc. It is great that the PD is out ahead of what 'could be' still out there...not knowing if the yahoo shipped anything else. Lets pray not but a heads up warning by the PD not to let the guard down quite yet. Kudos to them.

They’re DDP so I was trying to use a good QS credit. Or do you think Crystal Palace breakfast would be a better choice than BoG dinner? I’ve never done either meal. Only Crystal Palace Dinner and BoG lunch and breakfast.
I never did BOG dinner. We love breakfast at Crystal Palace. But you are looking for QS. BOG breakfast is QS? It is nice to be in the parks before opening. Good picture opportunities.

It is so crazy. You’re right, it’s not the day to day that you notice the change. With that pic, it’s not even just the height, but his profile doesn’t look like a little kid :(

Tall family for sure. My 7 year old is 45 inches. Maybe 46 with crocs. ;)

My sister was 4”11 when she graduated high school 😂. She retired from gymnastics that year, and then grew during her freshman year of college, now she’s a little under 5”1.
Her husband is actually only 5”11. My niece is way on the low end of height and weight..but the doctors aren’t worried.. she just takes after her mom.
I’m 5’7, my brother is 6’3. I don’t know how my sister ended up so much shorter than us.lol. My mom used to put a bun in her hair to try and make her tall enough for rides.:cautious:
