Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
My daughter will not eat any candy that sticks in her teeth. Her little "boyfriend" ("He's a boy friend not a boyfriend, momma!") had to go to his uncle's funeral and couldn't trick or treat so she took all the Skittles, Tootsie Rolls, etc. and gave it to him so he could have some candy.

I feel so badly when stuff like that happens to kids. :(

Yeah i had a webcam set up to a site so i could watch what she did if i was away for the day and i regretted buying it after the first day, id rather just see what i forgot to hide when i get home than watch her reign of terror on my phone while im out.

Oy. Over the years the damage puppies have caused. I had a golden that actually chewed the heel on my Moms dress shoe (on her foot) while she was sitting at my kitchen table.

Back from the Dr's.
Fluid trapped behind the eardrum in both ears. No sense continuing with the drops.

He started to write a scrip for the one and only antibiotic that might help. Sadly, it's also the one and only antibiotic to which I am allergic.

His best advice - hit the Advil Cold & Sinus gel caps hard for the next 36 hours.
2 capsules every 4 hours. Chew gum. Stretch my jaw to make my ears pop. Generally suck it up.

Another sympathy "like" for you.
If I don't "see" ya' again before ya' head to The World, I hope ya' feel better, have a great flight and an AWESOME, BLAST of a trip...!!!!!!! :joyfull: :)

Yes I can. I believe it has been 6 times this month. Flies into Ohare and there is only one road in and out and then all the way downtown, they empty the entire expressway. Once he flew into Gary IN and helicoptered to Illinois, we Illinoisans were dang happy about it. Generally they arriving during evening rush hour. He still owns his home in Illinois and they generally stay in it when they are in Chicago. Safest block in Chicago.

It's aggravating when big name politicians come to any city. I'll never figure out why they always choose to arrive during rush hour periods, as if traffic wasn't enough of a mess, as it is. In this day and age, they really shouldn't have to travel around so much to connect with their constituents. I mean, haven't these guys heard of Skype? :p

I'm sure the dr. knows best. I was a little surprised that he didn't consider a broad spectrum antibiotic, since you were allergic to that one, particular narrow spectrum pill. Then again, a broader one might have been hit or miss, and taken longer. Over the years, I've learned that infections can be tricky, and some are more difficult to treat than others.

I actually like his advice about chewing gum and stretching your jaw to make your ears pop. Sometimes, the old remedies turn out to be the most effective! :) I hope you're over this ear problem by the time you get to WDW.
