OK, It ain't so! For one thing she is about 4 centuries younger than I am and second she, like my Ex, is Canadian and I try not to ever make the same mistake twice. She is kinda cute though! (If that really is her picture)![]()
OK...I had to google that....I'm not very sophisticated.Qu'est ce que c'est?
It is a well known fact that time moves passes more slowly in cold climates.Four centuries? You are too kind.
Assuming you are the same age as my dad (09/1947), you are only two decades older than me.
(Unless of course, you measure centuries differently in 'Murica.)
One of my favorite mealsNot tonight.
Too cold to go out, and unlike the rest of you Smarties, I did not have the foresight to throw anythng into the slow cooker.
Ergo, tomato soup and grilled cheese for supper here.
? Am I missing something?
You're developing an unhealthy penchant for food pics....
I just saw requests for jambalaya pics....sorry, I already put leftovers in the freezer. It is just ordinary jambalaya, and I think a pic would just look like a mess. BTW, red wine goes GREAT....but I can't drink red...gives me headaches...however....white wines are another story

So that's why Canadians live longer! It is a well known fact that time moves passes more slowly in cold climates.
Yeah, except we can't call it food p-orn anymore. As usual, I blame PhotoDave.Developing?
I think I speak for most everyone who frequents this thread when I say we've had an unhealthy penchant for food pics for quite some time...!!!![]()

Blue Apron is a food service that once a week sends you all the fresh ingredients and detailed instructions for three meals (each meal serves two). It is about 10 bucks per meal but you get a chance to try some really different, at least for me, cuisine. I like that I get fresh herbs, exotic tastes that I would not normally buy at the grocery. The only problem for me is that they want to do that every week and that is too pricey and too many rich meals for me. You can cancel a weeks delivery as I understand it. A friend gave us a two week gift subscription a few months ago and I'm trying to figure out how to make it work for us.
Get something good!Back in a bit, Peeps.
I'm out of Apple juice, and that soup and grilled cheese has not magically prepared itself.
@JenniferS I call my white wine 'apple juice' when I'm out camping to keep the state park rangers off my backGet something good!
