I think we may have a winner for a car...

The Honda Accord.

When I get closer to the purchase, I'll make a final decision, but it may have won. I could even learn to live with cloth for that interior. Would rather have leather, but I could live with the cloth.
My first car was a hand-me-down Accord. I drove it until it got 120k miles. I loved it. It was super speedy.;) It didn't have many problems until it got over the 100k mark, as far as I remember.

If they move on to finals, that is televised on ESPN. She has been an alternate this year, which has been hard. It was decided about a month before UDA that everyone would dance. I am so happy for her, and sad for me because I will miss it.
Is it a live telecast, or will they televise it later in the Spring. They don't do the cheer telecasts until a couple of weeks after they have occurred in May.

I had assumed live, but now that you mention it, I am not sure. To be perfectly honest, I am not thinking they will make it to finals. Coach drama recently, topped by today's email that practice is canceled. One dance they had to shorten and add 5 dancers. They have only run it twice, and DD said it didn't go well. But, if they don't move on, extra park time. So, it works out.

Drama sucks. Hope they get it together.

Okay, rant alert...

I will never understand what is so hard about filling out a timesheet. Every month, I have an audit report due for timesheets for the department, and every month, I have to chase down the same people who haven't done their timesheets. Oh, and it's not like the low level service hub IT employees who you call when the printer breaks. They'll forget to do a timesheet, but they get reminded and they do it. Oh no. It's the SUPERVISORS who have multiple overdue timesheets and then also haven't approved the time for their resources. And it's the same two every month. It takes 10 minutes a week people. I shouldn't need to chase you down and make this painful every month.

Rant over.

Just another day at the office--chasing down people for the simplest tasks is a daily thing. I know. :banghead:

Thats a lie! some of the birds of Disney are vicious!!

I remember that big white bird near the Flame Tree BBQ (near the dinoland boneyard area).
That actively hunts for any Rib left unattended. :hilarious::hilarious:

And what about the aggressive, food stealing gull thugs outside the Mexican pavilion? If you sit at those little tables at the QS near the water, those gulls are not at all shy about dive bombing for your food!! :jawdrop:

As a reminder the Puppy Bowl is on Feb. 4, at 3:00 PM (Eastern), in Animal Planet. I can't wait!!

Speaking of football related things (including puppies), I wanted to mention to @ajrwdwgirl that our local sports newscasters are all out in the Midwest this week. They've all been televising from the Mall of America.

I know you've been to that mall, and thought about you experiencing the largest mall in America. I could see behind some of the sportscasters that there are even rides (one kinda looked like flying swings from a distance). There were tons of people in the shopping mall, too. Man, that place looks HUGE!

If these time sheets impact their pay you would think they would remember. Maybe if they didn't get paid because they forgot their time sheets maybe then they would start remembering. ;)

At same time??

That sounds more like sabotage/vandalism than accident lol.

Doubt it was vandalism. Still I would not completely rule it out. Some of these CMs are very attached to their attractions as likely are their mechanical engineers of those figures. I guess the 'Auctioneer' is out of job when the ladies move on.

I more lean to Disney is attempting to 'try' to reboot refurbishments and maintaining while remember major dangerous things over the last 5 years or the last decade as the monorail loosing parts that fell to the ground missing a guest by 10 feet last year. The mountain facade crashing to the ground in the load area of Splash Mountain. The tree of life at AK branch falling off into the queue sidewalk. The light post falling onto the load platform of Everest. 2 CM deaths on Primeval Whirl. The Monorail Crash. So a head falling off an figure really isn't out of the ordinary OMG! for WDW.

No go so far, almost all for US only, Driver license required AND most of the jobs are for positions with "long" experience required on particular stuff (5+ years on hospitality for example).
The others require you to be recently graduated (out of the range of age lol)

Hmmm...she says the computer data scientists and engineers are there...also 'Four Square' is also hiring in Chicago that also lines up with your skill and education. I'll keep an eye out for ya as I see them.
