Well hello everyone! I finished my Eagle Scout paperwork and just need to take it downtown. In addition, I'm starting weekends at my job,which has been PACKED due to the cold.

I tried it once and did not like it at all.

I can not imagine Jackfruit being a substitute for pork. Smells like rotten garlic or onions. Nasty. It is pretty though if you just want to look at it @figmentfan423

The like is a sympathy like. My rule of thumb in the winter is if a surface (road, sidewalk) does not look grayish, it may have hidden (black) ice.

I get that but it had rained and it was black and wet. 30 minutes later it was black and not wet but frozen wet. Elsa did it.

Many of the older cars were better. My thought is that it's because they didn't have all the fancy sensors (as you mentioned). More stuff now, more can do wrong. And a lot of the new things they're adding are totally unnecessary. I don't need a livingroom entertainment center in my car.

Ha! True. (But on the other hand, we did take long car trips in the summer when I was a kid. We played games in the car, read comic books, and often created our own "games" like who could be the first one to find the most red cars on the highway, in a period of five minutes, etc.) Occasionally, we'd argue and make a fuss, and my father would warn us that if we didn't knock it off, he'd turn the car around and go home. We'd then shut up. Somehow, we all survived.

Ha! Many of the trips I took the first 7 years of my life I was in a car that didn't have seatbelts. And this was my car seat, front bench seat between my parents.

Not sure if others have experienced this with the new update, but when you reply to a message, you might see that line that says something like--there are other posts, do you want to read those. (That's always been a feature.) However, it doesn't seem to bring me back to where I left off. Wherever it brings me to, seems to miss even a page of previous posts I hadn't read. I only knew this, because I'd then see other people's replies to posts I hadn't seen yet, so I would end up going back a page or two. Just thought I'd mention this.

Thanks for the clue. I've had a few things I've been trying to figure out too, I know it will come with time. Throughout the site there have been so much praise for the new site and others that have been outright melting down and rude to the owner of the site. I have tried to add to the praise. I appreciate the enormous expense the new platform is and when he needs to replace the platform 'cause the support of the old isn't there. Most of us get that when our own personal tech isn't what it once was when we purchased it.

I and a few other members on this thread were members of WDW Radio Forum for a long time. That forum went defunct as the platform was no longer supported and to upgrade was beyond expensive. Owner opted to just Let it Go. I've read through some of the comments on this thread, other threads and the Tech Thread and am embarrassed that a small faction have taken Steve to task for a place they come to for free. A true colors moment for me for some of the nasty things posted. I am happy that most of the comments like yours are helpful or asking questions or tech issues. Most have reeled it in with decorum. It has to be disheartening for him to read some of the Carp some members posted to him so disrespectful but few and far inbetween. To better days ahead! We still have a place to come together and appreciative Steve didn't let the forum go.

Sometimes Thank You goes a long way and yet it slips some peoples minds.

Steve seems to be taking reasonably stated requests and concerns seriously. Flip outs not so much.

To make the week complete my laptop today forced an update. Took a few hours. So I am playing here trying to find the new lay of the land 'cause it is here to stay and now trying to discover all that is new and confusing also on my new laptop update.

It is wildly popular box mix here in the US. It is in the big box stores, the clubs like Sams and Costco and the Chain Grocery Stores. Hope you find it. If not shoot me a PM and I'll mail you a box. Like @ajrwdwgirl said the only thing it is missing a little bit of fresh cheese that the restaurant does mix in. Good luck.

More like not looking for certain colors. I'm open to blue, black, or red. No white, no silver. There's a pretty aqua on the Camrys that's my favorite. I'm looking at a red Malibu.

My DD is set in her dream. A Blue Subaru Forester. She has been saving. Grad School, well that is a derailment.

I schedules a test drive for Chevy Malibu and Cruze for Wednesday. Going Wednesday after work. Then will likely test drive the Hyundai Sonata and Toyota Camry on Saturday. Exciting stuff.

For all the interwebs research nothing beats a test drive. What might look great online might be a right dog to drive. Hope you are able to figure out what is right for you.

Go with silver. Easiest to keep clean by a mile. The worst 2 colours are black or white. They show up ALL the dirt.
