My sister and I cleaned her apartment top to bottom today to get rid of all the little fingerprints and sticky door handles. It actually made me sad to wash the windows and see the marks disappear. :(
Since we were busy cleaning we decided to put all the Christmas stuff away as well. Traditionally we leave everything up till after 3 Kings but it made sense to do it today. It did feel good sitting on the sofa tonight seeing the whole place clean and tidy.

I have to check my Starbucks mug but I think I stopped in Cozumel on a cruise as well. I am enjoying your trip report, makes me want to book a cruise for next month.

I was just reading an article about the next potential snow expected between Sunday and Monday. :cautious:I know I shouldn't have looked but I found this quote funny. "Motorists may want to resist the urge to get their vehicle washed as the new storm will mess up roads."

I don't believe either of the two car washes I can get to have opened in the last few weeks. You can't even tell what color my truck is. I have dusted the white film off my windows multiple times cause I couldn't see to back up.

They are calling for snow here Sunday and Monday. I've seen enough of this white stuff. It is actually still white 'cause nothing has melted at all since Christmas Eve. :cautious:

I saw on the news that it's so cold in the south that iguanas were falling from trees because they were cold stiff.
They may have fallen from the branches but, they aren't necessarily dead. They are cold blooded animals so in the cold weather they "hibernate" at a very low body temperature. That's how all cold blooded animals survive. If it didn't work that way you would never see a snake in the north. The temperature didn't really get below freezing in Florida, just quite cold. It would have to freeze outside for them to actually freeze to death. Now they might chilly to death, but, I doubt it.:):D:cold:
