Your boys would love it! They are dabbling their feet into competing inch by inch.

I wish Disney would consider doing something like this with their holy rock formation called FLE Mountains. That could be warm and fuzzy. The loss of Osborne could be made up here easily.

So much lost potential. They can draw some of the over crowding from the hub.
Did you see Saturday when the Cast lost crowd control over the 'savior' the new hub? The guest revolt? They took took over the hub and all the forbidden walkways cause there was nowhere for them to go and held their ground. Crazy nuts. We saw this during Hurricane Irma. Keep putting more and more in a hub that doesn't have the square footage to accommodate no matter how they try to pretend it does. My call, spread it out. I want to see how Sunset works for DHS, that street and area is so narrow.
Hadn't heard about the crowd fiasco. That would be a great suggestion for that area.
I'm already broke and then I see this:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Isn't that how it always is?

We actually had a good Sunday. We had to drive 2 hours to Allentown, but there was no traffic so got to the area early. We used to live near there for 3 years so it was nostalgic to be back. The line to get into the arena was long and it was super windy. DH saw a security area around the corner from the main entrance so he decided to check it out and then waved us over. It was an entrance through a restaurant. So we went in and were nice and toasty. Dh's sisters and entourages were there which was nice because they had never seen dd perform. The venue was close enough to them. One brought her DSLR and got some nice shots which was nice since there were no professional photographers. DDs team were champions in their division. Yay! We splurged for dinner. Got sandwiches at Wawa. (A NJ, PA, VA thing). It was 5 and we had dogs to get home to. So 10 minutes with sandwiches in hand we headed home. Not bad though. They had a veggie sandwich which was good. Lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, and hummus on whole grain bread. Dinner for 6 for under $30 so cannot complain. Made it back home in 2 hours to some very needy pups. They were well behaved. No ripped toilet paper anywhere. So all in all a good day.:)

You might note too that none of these are Corporations, they are Foundations and Organization. That is what makes most donations tax deductible. Disney has even separated themselves out from the Corporation to VoluntEARS and their Conservation Funds.
Yes, I know that... but, whether they be any of those things or not.. the intent of the use of that word was more to convey large and sometimes impersonal due to their lack of "local" connection. They all do a needed service***, we just have to decide the one we feel best defines what we need to feel makes us want to give more and concern ourselves less about where and what form distribution takes place.
There are many lists published that breakdown just how much of our donations actually get to the needy. Some of the major ones have the smallest percentage that actually go to anything other then administration. I am out of time right now, but when I get a chance I will see if I can find them. Or maybe someone has a quick reference available that they could share.

cashier: thank you for shopping with us

me: you too

When I first started my part time job driving a shuttle from the rental car office to the terminals at RDU, as people were getting off the bus I used to say... "Have a pleasant trip". I got so many replies of "You to" and looks of embarrassment from well meaning people that I finally abandoned that and just say have a good rest of your day.

Sympathy like. They don't bother any of us so I don't understand why my dh doesn't want one
Perhaps he doesn't want to kill a good tree or $100.00 bucks for a couple of weeks of pine scent. A spray can of that is probably about $1.50 at Walmart's. I saw one for sale at Home Depot yesterday. It was a lot like the ones we used to get when I was a kid (just shy of being Charlie Browns favorite one) and it was $78.00.

Isn't it just like a vegetarian to not have a concern for killing off a plant. Even though they provide beauty and oxygen for us as long as it is alive, but, won't touch beef cattle that give us food and, other then that, not much more the ozone killing flatulence.

I hope you were going for funny/ sarcastic, here.

70% of the world's oxygen comes from phytoplankton, not trees :) We should be much more focused on saving our oceans than our forests, but most people don't know that.

My dh has Prime so he ordered something about a week and a half ago thinking it would be here in 2 days. Long story short after dealing with customer service for quite a few of them it was supposedly reshipped yesterday overnight N/C. We'll see.:cautious:
Me I go to a store buy something and it's home the same day:happy:
There is a small confusion regarding Prime.
The shipping is 2 days for free. But the "preparing package" can take from 1 day to 3 days.
Most of the times they ship in the second day early morning or late night.

@figmentfan423 is a vegetarian, and we like to pick on her for her strange eating habits and love of eating green junk food preferences. :angelic:

My Dh has often said we need to go blue and not green. Blue planet after all.
I bought Christmas Vacation at Target 2 Saturdays ago for a family movie night. My dd10, cried when the cat was supposedly shocked to death. We had watched the edited for tv version for years and hadn’t realized there were a few unsavoury words in it. Then I realized they had heard those same words out of their father before.
