Decided to try out mobile order at Cosmic Rays since we don't get an AP discount, and my room charge isn't working, so I had to use a credit card.

We got on the bus and decided what we wanted, then I ordered from my phone. It lets you scan the front of your card so you don't have to enter it if you don't have one saved on your account. Then you just enter the code on the back.

We got there and I immediately let it know we were there. It also send you a notification asking if you were ready to pickup. We found a table and waited about five minutes. Then, we got a notification saying it was ready.

Good, easy to use. Convenient if you are elsewhere (waiting in line, on a bus) and know you'll want food, saving you having to stand in another line.

My husband just told me that he read that over 1 million people visited Wyoming for the eclipse...that cracks me up. That means the population tripled for that day. I wonder where everyone stayed? Are there even 1 million hotel rooms available in Wyoming? Most of the towns are tiny and not all of them have hotels. I guess there were probably a lot of campers. Great for the Wyoming economy at least!

I got a great haul at the market yesterday to make Minnie Ears for our DLP trip in October. I had found some material that I LOVED on etsy, but it was over $10 per yard and then they also wanted $18 to ship it to the Netherlands....kind of defeats the purpose of making them ourselves to save money. So we have been looking everywhere for material that we like and would make great Minnie ears. Yesterday was market day and I had to go to the centrum anyway. So I decided to look for material and ribbon and there was a guy who had remnants of material for 2 euros a piece or 7 for 10 euros and he gave me an extra for free.

I took a few pictures of the new school:
This is supposedly (I say supposedly because I don't know how they are going to get a bike parking area in there with all the trees and bushes...especially in 3 weeks)where the bike racks will be...in 3 weeks. On the left where all those trees and such are. And you can see to the right of the bike path, that's the side where the upper grades come out...you can't really see it in this picture, but the bike path curves to the right after you cross the street, so then there's a fence between the bike path and the school and there's only a path that's probably less than 10 feet wide running down that side of the building and then there's a gate at the corner that you have to go through to get to the front of the building.

This is the front of the school...I THINK this is where the playground is supposed to go, but I'm not positive. That building in the back there behind the tree and the tractor shovel thing...that is NOT part of the school. I think it's a daycare for special needs kids, but I am not positive. But it's been there for ever.

These are the stairs...the space is really wide...I don't know why they didn't just put the stairway all the way across instead of only that middle part.

This is the main entrance to the building, where they've got the temporary bike parking.

Graphics on MS are much better now. We did both orange and green. Orange still makes me motion sick, but the graphics are much better and while I do miss Gary Sinese, the dialogue is much easier to understand.

The Earth mission on green is also very cool. It's nice that they're different, and green is a lot more family friendly.

I like Green and have liked it for a number of years. Haven't been on Orange since the first time I tried it. The effects contributed to a bout of vertigo a couple of days after (I had also ridden on RNR Coaster multiple times, and the inversion loops, in addition to riding Orange, really messed up my head.)

Luckily, the vertigo didn't hit me until the morning after I flew home. I went to get up in the morning, got dizzy and nearly fell on the floor. Hubs took me to the doctor, who gave me motion sickness pills to balance out the ill effects, and I was o.k. in a few days. Whew. End of Orange for me!

Nah, too advanced for Minnie. I'd rather stand in line at my QS du jour. (Oddly enough, I like staring up at the big food menu boards--looking at food photos is very relaxing to me!) :p

So I got a new phone today, an iPhone 7 partly because my computer and my phone wouldn't connect anymore. I kept getting this message and the battery was shot.
This is the message I would get

So I was happy driving home because now I would be able to connect my phone to my computer and put on some new songs that are from cd's. I plug my new phone into my computer and I get the same message as seen above (because the picture was taken with my new phone!), so maybe it was my computer and not my phone. I have done all the itunes/apple help but I'm really lost at this computer stuff. None of the drivers seem to be down or anything does anyone have any advice. Perhaps @Cesar R M you might know of something I could do to get my computer and my phone to recognize each other. :(

It's here! It's the most pumpkin-y time of the year! But, I won't break it open until the coffee I have is gone. Maybe Sept. 1st? I guess I could try to wait until after Labor Day.

I got Pumpkin PB the other day at the Christmas Tree Shop (yes, it's an all year store). PB is almost half the price as you get in the markets.
