It was suppose to start raining at 6pm tonight. It started at one while I had just started some outside painting At 6pm it was pouring again and hasn't stopped. Water standing everywhere once again. The Riverwalk was finally 1/2 clear.

Gotta just bet that this summer there will be a drought just because.

It seem's feast or famine with weather this year.

Over and out. Good night everyone. The alarm goes off at 4A.M. I do stay in bed for an hour or two. Not tomorrow, we have the first appointment of the day at the attorney's office. Then on to helping daughter hang up pictures and other stuff.

I got a Disney Gift Card for my birthday. I hope Disney gets busy and puts those machines in before our trip. I just realized it's a little over 11 days until we leave. Time fly's when you are having a blankety blank blank time!

I am so excited for your trip. Hope you get lots of great food to report back to us.

I'm on the fence, the length of stay price isn't as bad. Still it is that principle of a very expensive vacation escalating in price because of all the add ons and surcharges.

Pretty sure you can also exchange your points for DCL trips.

Yes, that is correct. Actually, you can exchange your points for a regular hotel room. The problem is that the rate for exchanging them is so high that it's almost not worth it. You're almost better off just paying cash and if you don't use your points, banking them.

Grand Californian has villas attached, which is where we always stay in DL.

I'm hoping to go back around the 5th or 6th of May. Right now it's just waiting until the 30 days have passed so we can file the paperwork. I'm really hoping we don't have to go into probate, but I hear from friends that it can take up to 2 years to go through probate. Obviously I can't stay here for 2 years, so it's just a matter of having someone who can sign on my behalf. Long story short, Lord I hope so!!!!

Eeek!! Do you have a lake again? The weather this Spring has just been crazy EVERYWHERE!!

Yeah and yet again it has been raining now pouring for over 9 hours and they say the heavy stuff will come overnight and then rain into the morning after sunrise. Heavy Stuff??? What is it that we've been getting the last 4 hours.

And yeah the river had been going down, the ponds in the grass and sidewalks are back. Even when it stops if you step into the grass areas you can feel the mud move under the grass.
Guess the upside is the rain will keep the frost away cause it is suppose to get cold tonight and chilly tomorrow. I have buckets over my tomato plants.

DD wants jello jigglers for her non-party in a couple of weeks so it's a good thing we got a bunch of jello!! She does NOT want a party because she viewed her parties last year as a fiasco, but she DOES want to do something, so we are going to have a Netflix day with her 2 best friends from school and she will do something later with her other best friend who goes to a different school. She doesn't want to invite the 3rd friend to the "non-party" party because the girl has autism and ADHD and is pretty much responsible for DD not wanting a party this year. She kind of hijacked it last year...didn't listen to instructions, made a huge mess, and then asked all the girls who wanted to go outside...so all the girls went outside to play, leaving DD by herself inside doing the crafts she had been really looking forward to for months. She felt excluded from her own party. And knowing the girl can't sit still for 5 minutes, she decided that's not conducive a Netflix day. So we're having her 2 school friends and lots of junk food, including, but not limited to jello jigglers and popcorn.

Everything goes better with Jello! I remember you gathering all that stuff for her party last year for the girls to make. Oy. That age can be so hard. Still I give her credit for having a friend still with special needs especially with the child constantly acting up. A very compassionate DD you have.

That's fantastic!!! And way to go mom for saying no! It sounds like that's pretty huge for her!

Thanks! I'm happy. It is huge. Mom wasn't an order following kinda gal her whole life. I'd say this started about 10 years ago.
I'm kinda in my own mind anyhow tying it to when her long term Doc retired and she found this primary.

The day back in December that Mom told me 'well she is my Doctor and I have to do what she tells me to do' I was going to have to start watching closer. A couple years ago I had put an end to a specialist that wanted to put a scope down her throat ever 2 to 3 months, knocking her out each time. He too scared her into obeying cause he said this pre cancer can turn into cancer if not caught quickly Do You Want to die? I heard that from the waiting room. I took her records and the scope dvd and took her for a second opinion. Such a nice Doc. He looked at the dvd and into her throat and said I'm not seeing what he is seeing. I don't recommend ever having this test again at your age it isn't likely.

So in December during a check up with primary the doc wrote a script for her to go back to the original scope doctor. My Mom says to me she will need me to take her cause he is going to knock her out. I had to remind her what the other doc had said. I was so angry. I really want to get her away from the Primary Doc and possibly into a good Geriatric practice. Oy

I can even get vegan Jello. I can't imagine life without jello @Songbird76 same here just pm me.

My niece is a vegetarian going vegan, my Sis and Hubby are mostly Vegan but do dabble into Vegetarian world now and again especially with groups, being at others homes or out to dinner with others etc. All three of them go in their heads
nanananana when it comes to Jello. Seriously all three of them pretend Jello is Vegan. They are doing this to eat healthy not because of any condition so they have the flexibility. Though the niece has had some real issues finding food to eat at her University in the middle of No-wheres-ville New York. It has been a problem.

But last night what I was seeing was so freak'n funny which generally is not the case. Some people can be witty and funny and it makes you take a step backwards and just have to laugh at the stupidity of life on earth at times. I had fun with it. I was surprised myself.

Well how about that! It's only misting now. It stopped pouring while I was playing here.

Pulled up the radar and the storm coming up from the south seems to have taken a sharp right turn East in Southern IL.
If it continues that way were DONE! Poor them though, Central and Southern has double the rain we've had and it is planting season. Oy for them.
