Cool. We want to come out there sometime. We usually go to Utah and Arizona.
It's a beautiful place to be. We used to do 10 or 11 mile hikes in one day. We saw a lot of beautiful plants, alpine flowers and lakes and streams and animals. We did a lot of camping and hiking, our daughter wanted to be a park ranger for the longest time. She went through the park ranger program when she was 8, and loved it. We have started out warm, but had to wear winter coats as we hiked higher and higher. We got into a bad hail storm and lightening storm, most everyday in July....that was our hiking time, at least a couple weeks. We once early on in hiking, pitched our tent next to a small stream during the day, by night we were taking down the tent and running back up to the car. We did everything we weren't supposed to do when we started out camping. We kept food in the tent, a big no-no. But that was over 35 years ago. The information wasn't available as it is now. I hope you get to come sometime, in the "summer", usually in July ....it's glorious in the mountains. Thanks for listening , I like to remember those times.

I hope you and the adult kids get to go, that will be fun, all going as adults!
Thanks! Well, for the anniversary it will be just DH and I. I hope to go in a few years with the kids. I'm hoping there will be enough in the estate for a trip and maybe take my niece if I can't convince my brother to go with us. I can make the arrangements to get the deal from Europe, but then he could pay me back for his family's trip. But if they won't go for that, I'd like to take my niece..she really wants to go to Disney and my kids would love spending time in Disney with her and they would be old enough to watch out for her by then, too. We'll see.

I loved Morris. I Knew someone with the phone. I think I may have played 7 up, or am I confusing it with one potato, etc? Learned cursive, and my kids are learning/ learned it as well. :)
My daughter is learning cursive now at school. With only a couple weeks of school left they are using it as a time filler since the required stuff is done for the year. I'm sure they aren't available anymore but about six years ago I found Disney kids workbooks that taught printing, cursive and math. I bought them for some of her birthday presents.

James' English class has finished their required work so the kids who are taking a foreign language next year are getting a head start and the kids who struggled are getting to review what they had problems with:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: Yea and thnx to all the good teachers out there:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull:
