I can drink coffee, but, I don't go out of my way for it. We even have a Meile at the office, but, I can't remember the last time I had a cup from it. DWifey does not like coffee at all. My folks and her mom are coffee drinkers (her pop was also a coffee drinker, but, passed years ago).
And, all 3 of our kiddos drink coffee...go figure. :cyclops: ;)
Let's see... My father and my wife drank coffee like they were about to run out of it. My mother and I never drank the stuff and neither of my daughters nor their husbands drink coffee either. Go figure!

Hubby plans to go ahead and go.
PS, watch all shows on the first showings if you can. The last days they get packed to the seams.
Seen Cats twice, The ice show twice as well.

CATS is seen better in the middle lower area. (the cats cast will interact with you)
The ICe show is better as close as possible to the ring. The outer area has obstructions (metal pillars).

Well, the last hour has been a ton of tornado warning fun...!!!!!
Fortunately, the rotation all broke up again, but, we got a little hail and a whole bunch of lightning and sideways rain.

Eeekk! That's scary. Glad the rotation broke up. I know we have a few members here on Chit Chat who live in states that get tornado warnings, at certain times of the year. But, I didn't think that Texas was one of them.

Hello, everyone. Got the daughter and two boys, signed up for their apartment. After an 11 hour day...yesterday the kids house sold, it took 28 showings, with people out bidding each other. I guess houses are selling like crazy. The grandson's, were told last night about the divorce. The oldest took it really hard, the youngest is a go with the flow kind of kid. I expected it to turn out this way. So we all went to top golf this morning to celebrate the SIL birthday. We meet back to go to lunch. SIL got a phone call from his dad...his mom is in the hospital with a small intestine blockage. So, it goes on. Hey, @figmentfan423 I hope you leg is doing better. That's the update. My heart hurts so much for the oldest grandson. :bawling: Will try to do ketchup this evening....I hope!

Hopefully, things will start to calm down for your family now. I do feel bad for the boys, though. Sad news for them. :(

I think what bugged me about it was the 3-D animation. I truly, truly, miss the beautiful old cartoon films when the artists used to draw all those cells. The older cartoon movies had such depth and flow (if you were to play DVDs of Bambi and Moana, on side-by-side monitors, you'd see immediately the dramatic difference). The movement of the newer 3-D animated images was almost "stiff" for me to watch. Actually, I found it somewhat distracting.

Now, if you've never seen the older cartoon movies, you might not even notice. But to me, I'm just not a fan of the new stuff. Disappointed . . . :(

I can appreciate the newer animation methods too, but, I definitely have a special place in my heart for the hand drawn stuff...!!! :)

FOURTH SET?????:eek::eek: 4th adult set? Wow! Poor thing.:(:(:(
She was born with four little teeth on top and four on bottom. Then those fell out. All her baby teeth grew in and she lost those like normal through the years and ones replaced them. Then when these extra teeth (set #4) started growing in (without the others falling out) the dentist said all the ones before were baby teeth. o_O Really?

Oh I totally love the hand drawn ones. I prefer them as well. There is a little more heart in them. We were at Disney when they were doing the animation for Brother Bear and Home on the Range. It was so cool to watch the animators work. An animator gave us the tour when it was a short movie and then a tour of the studio. It was really amazing for me to see all that.

We did the animation tour on our first family trip
In '01, and it was very cool! I believe they were animating Lilo and Stitch or Brother Bear, at the time.
My beast friend in No Cal back in the day and I talked of being animators. We were both in art classes and loved to draw.
When we moved back to Texas in '76 we lost touch after a coupla' years. He and his family were here in town to attend a wedding a few summers ago and we met at a local BBQ place for lunch and did some catchin' up.
He went on to be a video game designer and I ended up in architecture. :)
