Same thing in my house growing up except a different field. That seemed to be common in men from a certain generationI grew up in a house with an outspoken lawyer. Feelings are something we don't talk about (except with Mom) and if you're offended, too bad.
I just know where to lookCesar, you always find the cutest pictures!
Indeed. Most of my life. I'd say less than a decade since I will eat and enjoy sauerkraut and eat SOME Mexican offerings. Some. Must remember I ate a good chunk of my meals in Mexico at Shakey's Pizza.
I still lean much more lean to Creole & Cajun over Mexican or Tex Mex dishes when thinking of Southern cooking. Sauerkraut, from young I just viewed that as a nasty waste of tummy space for better German, Austrian and Hungarian dishes. Still won't eat Sauerkraut as a side dish, it needs to be on corned beef or a nice Polish Sausage Sandwich.
You're buying we're drinking
The first time I was at my dh's house when we were dating, we were just hanging around his front yard and there were clovers in the grass. I bent down and looked around and picked a 4 leaf clover. Lucky me I guess.Hahaaa...!!!
I recently read that there's only about a 1 in 10,000 chance of finding a four leaf clover. I always thought the odds were much worse than...time to find me a clover field...!!!!!

I think his immobility might be from shock -- think he's having second thoughts about the size of his new "house" . ..
My St. Patrick's Day wasn't as festive as yours. I brought in an Irish soda bread for the office hungry hounds. People liked it with their coffee for a snack. But we were all working, so it was just a quick break.
Hubs and I went to our usual Friday night restaurant, but neither one of us had the traditional corned beef and cabbage. I grew up on all that Irish boiled cooking and I hated it. So I had a cheeseburger and a glass of milk, instead.
A little olive oil and I'll slip right through the bars
Definitely. Although I think it's a natural thing in my family. I've had to learn how to talk about my feelings and to tell people when something is wrong. It's good to some degree, though, because I just go with the flow. Serves me well in the workplace.Same thing in my house growing up except a different field.
