Just got home and pulled up this new story from today. Miss G, the Massachusetts Audubon Society's official groundhog authority, also saw her shadow today--6 more weeks of winter!

Yep, it's kinda' funny-amazing how some of us become so attached to the little buggers.
Then again, a tiny hand-held computer is pretty amazing in it's own right...!

That image is so uggo--kinda like Minnie and Duffy got into a fistfight-- and Duffy rearranges Minnie's face.
Aside of the hideous image, I also can't comprehend why they didn't steam out the wrinkles in the clothing, before they put up the photo on their web site??!! Is no one paying attention to detail anymore?!
Nope, they're not.
When I first started at TDS, we steamed what needed to be steamed. Then, I guess Disney decided steaming wasn't necessary anymore...just get the product onstage ASAP.
It's kinda' funny, 'cause you didn't steam princess dresses because they were covered in glitter in so many places, and they were made of materials that really didn't wrinkle with the way they were packaged in shipment, and the way we stored them backstage on hanging rods. Other clothes definitely needed to be steamed before being put on stage, but, weren't.
T-shirts came pre-folded in individual plastic.
Then, of course, we had to refold them all the Disney way...with the board.
I did that for about the first year, and then realized I could fold them better freestyle.
And yep, that "Minnie" looks a bit twisted.
What the h**l is DCP thinkin'...?!?!?!

I can't remember if I posted these from our last trip down to Port Aransas a coupla' summers ago...
It's some other designs we did in another beach community a few years ago that is right down the road from the new community where the homes I sketched today are going to be.
Maybe, someday...!
